Mononucleosis is not a joke, guys. It takes time to recovery, so give Roger time and he shines as in good old days :))

Shine on you crazy diamond!!! Now that the relationaship with Mirka is on the rocks and his tennis too, perhaps he will retire in Switzerland and take on painting to pass the idle years ahead of him. |

Thank you canary, I wil never back him outright for any of the titles again.
Glenn Roeder :) |

He will be extra motivated to win Wimbledon to break Borg's record and with Nadal going backwards, Djokovic is the only real threat.
However Djokovic tends to get tired physically having to endure 5 setters. So every chance that Federer will win another major. |

Murray is the fly in the ointment at Wimbledon.
|
|
By:
"moonball" Murray doesn't have the game for WImbledon... unless he changes his recent "wait for the error" style

Federer had glandular fever - will take time to fully recover.
Still the best tennis player ever - will win many more what short memories some people have |

For almost a year ago fed was finnish, and thread like this was up, ended up from here with final in RG and two slams.
|
|
By:
Which on closer analysis only confirms the point:
1. In RG SF Fed was a break down to Davydenko in every set. 2. In Wimby final he faced four BPs vs. Nadal in the final set. (And that was the first time he'd had to go the distance in all his Wimby streak.) 3. In US final he faced five SPs vs. Djoko in the first set and two more in the second. In other words, things were constantly on a knife edge for him. Quite a contrast with how it used to be for him. |
