dont think hell win wimbledon il be down almost as much as you if he does laying murray to win the grand slams has been a great money train the last couple of years especially when fed was losing to haas and the scottish muppet was favourite to win the french had a little scare in last years us open but thankfully the great man came through for me |

theres a reason he looks over 35 at 23
I think he reached his "peak" in 2007-8 slow decline from now on |

Because there is so much hatrid for Murray on the basis that
1) He doesnt appear to be a particulrly likeable person 2) His game is very negative. People on here make there case blinded by emotion. They would be better off arguing in a more objective manner as I agree he is unlikely to win a Slam, and here's why... Hard Court - He might confess to being his fav surface , but after beatings by a number of more aggressive players I very much doubt he can go the whole way in 5 set matches over a slam - Del Potro, Federer, Cilic, Verdasco etc etc all have ability to beat him on this surface. Clay - Sure he's improved but no where near the game to win here. Grass - This is the interesting one and why I say he is unlikely rather than "never will". At the next Wimbledon Murray will be in the top 4 players who can win the tournament as a huge proportion of players cant play on the surface and therefore rule themselves out of the tournament by default. Dont get me wrong Fed is head and shoulders above Murray however, Fed is not getting any younger and if Fed didnt play Wimbledon one year then there is a very good chance that Murray would go off Fav - unless Nadal springs back to life. So my conclusion is an unlikely winner but be wary of Wimbledon. |

here's my conclusion
90%+ of people are stupid and dont have a clue players develop/progress/improve/and learn people said nadal would never do anything at wimbledon or on hard courts after he lost to gilles muller at wimbledon in 05 and got smashed by blake at the us open, he changed his game on these surfaces and learnt from his defeats...those people were stupid people also said federer was too mentally weak to do it in slams after he lost to luis horna in the 1st round of the french open in 2003 as he had been talked about for a while but not done anything, and then the real idiots said he was finished when he was struggling before the french open this year..... so basically, murray has plenty of time, he has enough talent and the more than enough drive so anyone who categorically states he wont win a slam or probably wont is an imbecile...he has things to work on, minor things and im sure he is/will...he has 7/8 years to win a slam, his best chances will obviously come in 2010/11/12/13.... the shrewdies also predicted he wouldnt win a slam before 2010, they have been proved right, and im sure these people also thought he would win numerous slams, i doubt much has changed in their minds |

i'm still going to be right, idiot or not
$200 for those who post which he will (he wont) win |
|
By:
j simpson talks sense - he would have to retire in january to have no chance of winning a slam and i cant seethat happening - tennis is his life and winning a slam is his lifes ambition - - -he will become more attcaking just like mr federer and i reckon he will win a few.......... at least 15.....:)))))))))))))))))))))))))))

i'm still going to be right, idiot or not $200 for those who post which he will (he wont) win yes but youre missing out on the key fact here... whether you are right or wrong is immaterial, you will still be an idiot/complete tool |

ok :) |

i actually like the players between davydenko and tsonga to win the AO (without davydenko but including tsonga) if you look at the betfair ofer. Verdasco, Roddick, Soderling, Cilic, all have good odds and the tools
