The 14.25 at Doncaster is a small field but high quality group 2 race for 2 year olds and when looking for a trade in a race like this it usually pays to side with the more experienced runners as they are more likely to get their act together and focus on the job in hand earlier in the race. The most consistent & professional in this field is the Godolphin runner Tha’ir who has won of his 6 starts & traded down to 1.43 & 1.33 in his 2 latest outings both in group company. He was just nosed out in a blanket finish 2 weeks ago at Sandown & in this small field I’m hoping that Frankie Dettori can deliver him with every chance around a furlong from home which should see the price contract at least enough to give us a trade.

Tha’ir can be backed now for 2 points at 8.0 with the books & on here, if you want 30% profit then lay off 2.6 points at 5.9 or if you’re shooting for 50% profit then lay off 3.05 points at 5.1 to give you a 1 point all green screen.
