The market move for denmark is probably based on this poll
https://eurovisionworld.com/esc/eurovision-2026-poll

which has seen Denmark surge into 2nd place with 10.6k votes behind Finland's 19.6k

France 3rd (5.6k)
Greece 4th (5.4k)
Sweden 5th (5.4k)

Obviously I'm losing some confidence in my pick of France, but hey ho.

G'Luck.

P.S. Denmark is such an obvious continuation of the last 2 years, I'll be kicking myself for not backing "same old, same old" if it wins Crazy

They're still 8.2 so you don't have to kick yourself.

Finland, Denmark likely winners atm but we have likely seen their staging. Most of them we haven't seen.

Australia's (and also France's) jury odds seem quite low. It's a toss-up for me, and the two favs at 7s are better value IMO. That said, doubt I'll get involved in any of these markets during these late stages. The early days are where we capture the competition value, and that's been done

Yes magical but the Eurojuries prefer Denmark. Here's the europarty which I saw from a distant lens and thought wtf is this. Close up, as in broadcast shots, makes all the difference.

put your kebab down and have a look at Greece... in from 11 last week to 5.6 over the last couple of days !?

I've tried and tried, listened to the song again... then again... I can't see how it could win as a song, I just can't. It's so so repetitive, it's got almost zero cadences. The best compliment I could come up with is it's blokey bedroom balderdash.

One day, a fairly meritless song is going to win the whole competition purely because of the social media foot print the artist has.

Will it be 2026?

I think we get a Finland Greece flip flop before the final
By:
Henry VIII
When: 04 May 26 09:12
No flip flop yet. Do we try to make things interesting by trying to topple the obvious winner Finland? Especially if, like Finland, it's not very innovative? Especially if we don't like it? And yet it continues to stare us in the face as the obvious winner.

Greece has momentum, maybe for 2nd, a ceiling imo, but possibly a fair bit lower. Does momentum in the bubble mean anything to the public?

@ Escapee 30th April, maybe social media but the most important thing isn't that but the fact you can vote 10 times for the same country. A heavy campaign for that and by who? Step forward Israel with mediocre personified but most certainly using their 10 phonecalls. At 20/1 4 places have tempted, they will get next to nothing for the song except from a handful of countries, they will win the phone side i would think, would it be enough?
No bet however, i would be sullied.

Likely winning tele means Israel unknown threat. However poor Eurojury score suggests jury Israel sentinment will still be like last year. 3 or 4 countries likely to score high jury points and that's not dissipated enough for Israel to come through because most of those countries will also get high tele points.
Their song isn't mediocre though, one of the best imo.
By:

When: 10 May 26 13:03
^ Fair enough and i may be a bit harsh on the song itself, it is sung mostly in French which may have continental appeal.I haven't heard other songs so can't rate it with them.
I was surprised that people can vote 10 times which is why i posted and i think a campaign to abuse that will almost definitely happen with them.
No bet but if was anyone else i would have,gl with your picks.

You have no comment on their state TV encouraging block voting though on that link which is pertinent to betting on this.

I have no idea if it's a good song or not, I don't ever recall you passing judgement on past eurovision songs. It's no surprise that when you do, it's probably a Jewish act representing Israel.

As for multi-voting, it was ever thus. Am I surprised if Israel are pushing their vote as you claim, absolutely not. They know they won't get a fair crack from the juries.

A New York Times investigation found Israel ran a coordinated, multi-year campaign to influence Eurovision results.

- Israel spent at least $1 million on Eurovision marketing, including over $800,000 in ads around the 2024 Malmö contest, partly funded by Netanyahu's government propaganda office
- Multilingual ads urged viewers to vote up to 20 times for Israel's contestants. Netanyahu himself posted voting graphics on Instagram
- Israeli embassies reportedly pressured European broadcasters to keep Israel in the contest
- Israel's singer won the popular vote in countries where Israel polls deeply unpopular
- The European Broadcasting Union kept full vote data secret, canceled an emergency vote on Israel's participation, and adopted vague rule changes instead
- Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, and Slovenia boycotted the 2026 contest in Vienna
