On Strictly Come Dancing, judges’ comments aren’t about deciding the winner — they’re about justifying the outcome.
If George were leading the public vote, the show would need to justify that lead on-screen. That justification comes through: • stronger or standout judges’ comments • “this is your moment / peaking at the right time” language • relative score swings • or subtle dampening of Karen’s momentum So far, after the first dance, Karen has clearly had the better judges’ comments. If in the second dance George still doesn’t get that justification, then there’s simply nothing to justify — which strongly suggests he isn’t leading the vote. In other words: • Justification only appears when it’s needed • No justification = no lead to explain If this pattern continues and Karen keeps receiving the strongest praise, then the most logical conclusion is that Karen wins, because the show never opened a narrative pathway to explain a George victory. Dance 2 is the key pivot — not the last dance. Silence from the judges at this stage is information. |
