Sounds like you played it better than the rest of us :)
By:
There are times and events where that is probably the most efficient way to play it - bets on early and sometimes let it ride.
Saves some time on watching doesn't it - this show is marathon length episodes each night! |
By:
My first bets on this (early before it started) were:
Backs: Jones, Alan, Tulisa Lays: Oti and Coleen I should have probably just done all those, as higher stakes and sat back for the rest of it.. |

I'm not sure there will be much good will to the junkyard camp
By:
all of this airtime for Maura, but doing nothing with it
By:
Been watching Gogglebox instead of this shoite, they all loved danny :(
By:
He should be 1.30 tbf
By:
Maura going abit far now. She should be 20+
By:
Tipperary?

By:
Timw for a Rooney poem
Kudos for Coleen My only other green |
By:
She's right in the mix for top female now
By:
Only thing short term I'd say for Maura is she prolly gets the next BTT after that
By:
There once was a futbla from pool
Who ended up acting the fool He shagged an old ganny But ignored her fanny Cos she left her teeth on the stool |
By:
The trial was grim
By:
Dean will come out the show with very few liking him.
By:
*no-one liking him
By:
Maura acing it so far, can she get past Jones. Won't be enough of course, but first semblance of a crack in the edit tonight.

Angry Dean

What a pu$$y this chump is
By:
The whole series is grim. Is anyone left watching?
By:
They need to mix up the format. Becomes a stroll for the majority not involved in the tasks
By:
I wouldn't be surprised if Rooney was tapped up with the task info. Otherwise that was going to be £1.5m down the gurgler. Pretty clever if so
By:
Entertainment undeniably improved with the new additions. But the format is the same old sh1t, different day. Wouldn't be watching without a financial interest.
By:
With coleen to the fore she has a good chance of camp leader and price crash, if it is Danny it is as we were
By:
Alan is now 4th in the queue to smack Dean in the mouth. Behind Barry, Any, Moi. He is a grade A ****
By:
I hate Dean so much. Vile
By:
this series is dead in the water, 1.01 they primed Rooney with info to ensure the series actually got some headlines. enough for me, had its day, now manufacturing sh1t to stay current.

Coleen backing so far, really?
May be doing ok, but so short? I'm a layer, but still not really worried she will win this. |
By:
I agree with posters she was 100% coached into being Wagatha Christie to pump some much needed life into the show, although Dean has started to crack now and that surely is only going one way.
Still have the Tulisa cooking story simmering on the back burner as well. Some potential for fireworks me thinks |
By:
would you back her at these prices army?
By:
No, im enjoying Maura tbh...think she's hilarious.
I can see Coleen getting a Giovanna type celeb vote though Danny is pretty dull tbh, game on ? |
By:
You can lay who ever has a moment in this, it's a three week show and a few will have their time in the lime light.
Barry talking about his daughter traded @15 now @150 Tulisa talking about getting set up by the fake sheik traded @7 now @16 in just two shows without doing anything wrong. GK traded @5 after getting picked for trials now @48 now we have Coleen who had been @30 and now down to @5 after getting picked for a trial and getting fed info from producers about ther junkyard perhaps not being so tough a time giving her something to solve, the price can only be explained if she got voted to be a camp leader and even then the price is short enough with two weeks to go and action to play out now we have a little tension in camp with Dean. |
By:
I don't fwiw. They may have said some leading questions in the BTT that made her think about the Junkyard campmates, but imo Coleen genuinely believes she worked it our herself. IF that was in the show's thoughts then they absolutely needed Coleen to believe she worked it out for herself, for it to be authentic. Coleen is not one for acting imo, and if she was then she is an incredible actress.
I think Danny wins stu, but Coleen was my only other green before this stroke of luck. In the absence of someone taking the show by the scruff of the neck, and with Alan being boring, my reason was that if there was anyone with enough widespread appeal that could challenge the fave, it was Coleen. She's a Liverpudlian through and through and they back their own, so I think there's potential hidden support there. I went to bed Friday with Ladbrokes going 18/1 1/5 1-2-3, hoping but not expecting it to be available in the shops. At 6am she was 14/1 and by the time I woke up properly around 9am she was 8/1. I bet her in shops top female and top 3 instead. |
By:
Agree the timing is also an issue - way too early for winning based on a more temporary story and moments - when the final votes come in can't see anyone being bothered about the 'wagatha' rubbish.
By:
fair play CB, still don't think she wins against the other favourites in a finals vote personally. But fair points.
By:
With two weeks to go and this fake phucker of a supposed default winner hitting 1.7, anyone not max red shouldn't be playing Specials
By:
At the end of the day Coleen and Maura have been incredibly lucky. Coleen with Wagatha and Maura with the great espionage challenge and eating trial. But I think Danny is just a fair bit more popular and with the way the show is likely to pan out, and the probable only male amongst females in the last 3,4 or 5, he's still going to be very hard to beat.
By:
As Great as Maura is to watch, her games will eventually seal her fate with the public. Coleen is the only real live challenge to Danny, even more so if she smashes her trials. Potential for a powerhouse vote
By:
Coleen also has a aura around camp, ive no bets btw so not influenced.
By:
Maura is charismatic, but she takes it for what it is, a soppy game so laughing at getting the food from people who were on 'rations'. So she has no interest in winning per se but knows how to make the edit, get headlines etc. It's not like the old days with app voting but that approach will still struggle to win the OR up against someone like Jones. It would need the producers to expose Jones. Rooney is completely vapid and there's half a chance the whole set up with the fake camp being exposed by her was a deliberate narrative from the beginning.
Gamblers are up against it on this show, not only are there informed people in the market, pv wise and putting the highlights together, it feels like some people know the storyboard before it's even started. Of course it doesn't always play out like planned on paper, as we seen with scd this year and when Harry ran away with it for example. It was predictable to be fair that they wouldn't allow the big money signing to crash out early in a whimper. |
