Sun has released the line-up...

Danny Jones
Oti Mabuse
Tulisa
GK Barry
Jane Moore
Dean McCullough
Barry McGuigan
Melvin Odoom
Alan Halsall
Rev Richard Coles
Coleen Rooney
Maura Higgins

Soon as I heard the rumors, I've been itching to place a bet on GK Barry (it depends on the odds, though). Danny Jones will be the short-priced fav I guess?

He's Tyrone Dobbs just for reference (not that it helps much)

It was better in the days when it was emmerdale and they had nice boobies
By:

Some nice Emmerdale women yes. Love

Halsall will be going for the Andy (Kirk) vote

The corrie men have had some good 2nd placers in recent history - could go close.

I think i switched off that andy series, it was so awful

I couldn't ignore the strength he had in market value though - he lost, but traded almost as strong as any contestant has.

I'm also backing Jones given the McFly link - they have an awesome record for gathering voting support in this show.

I've now added a third backing Tulisa

I may be c0ck-backing but think she has some decent enough qualities, for the price as a lively longer shot.

Maura did DOI. Amateurs ! Melvin did SCD as well but blink and you missed him, poor little sod. Maura reality 'pro' obviously, knows how to get cam time, regularly involved in itv stuff, Irish as well so likely to get significant prod support. Possibly lined up for a future itv show. Rev is quite witty and irreverent if I recall from SCD days, looks nailed to be the sagely camp commentator.

ABC of IAC

A) Every soapster plays themselves
+
B) Would Tyrone Dobbs win this?
=
C) Halsall's my first max red.
By:

When: 04 Nov 24 08:58
Andy/Kirk got pretty close to winning, trading about 1.3 and he was basically playing himself?
By:
stu
When: 04 Nov 24 09:00
Tyrone is less than Kirk may be your reasoning? Not sure if Tyrone is specifically less popular as a character?
By:
timbuctooth
When: 04 Nov 24 10:18
They all play themselves, and 'pretty close' isn't 'winning'
By:
stu
When: 04 Nov 24 11:21
True, but the corrie men recently would have been great trades, going very short (Andy and Simon G)
By:

When: 04 Nov 24 14:11
Fair enough. (A max red) Andy was never going to win, market madness, but (a max green) Steve was robbed!

still managed to get to 2nd place, which suggests they get some decent support out there.

By:

Yes, was a late entry. Maybe helped, or not, but would have been reason if you'd been laying heavy before I guess.
By:

When: 13 Nov 24 10:29
Late entries in IAC seem to often have fairly decent impact - and of course Biggins won it as one.

Just seen all their intro vids. GK Barry's actually bright. Loud, witty, chatty, could also be screamy and voted onto all the tasks giving her lastability. Melvin Odoom is funny and perceptive but a lesser celeb, may not be given the airtime.

She might 'like' Tulisa and Maura, from what I've read about here MischiefSilly
