Tony is coming across a much more authentic runner, anyone who can beat that hammy little over privileged uber fake turd Sam is fine by be. Tony is that type of alpha male women are now told they should hate, but actually still desire. Plus he is funny, which is the primary currency on this show. Interesting development, just before vtw and insider knowledge reaches the market in earnest.

That's a very fair assessment Cider. As a novice in jungle, I never for a moment considered Tony as a first 3 runner let alone actually win the gig. It has shaken my comfort zone most definitely but even though I don't think he'll win, my book doesn't look quite as nice as it did a couple of days ago!

If you're very new to this, it's 99.99% certain that live voting data finds its way into forming the market, and 100% the elimination betting. The money doesn't always win, as it hasn't been particularly sophisticated, but obviously it's very advantageous for those who get it. It is also shameless with no effort to disguise, so we pretty much know who will be eliminated before the pv freeze most evenings.

Yep, fair enough, I should have added `for trading purposes`. With it not being vte, I expect her to be around for longer than the elim market does, just thought we might see tradeably lower prices

With the favs (presumably) taking up so much of the vote, wouldn`t take much of the vote share for one of the rags to sneak into, say, fourth place in the first vote or two. Let the insiders go to work on the supposed fourth fav at 300-odd, and much lower prices would ensue. Nughtmare that she is to us older men, she`s the most likely candidate

Who knew Tony Bellew would be a natural at this. When he first came in he looked like he would rather be anywhere else in the world at that point as well, what a turnaround.

He still kind of does look like that. But he's just naturally funny and a great bloke. Really hope he beats sam

Wondering why is the elim market suspended. Confused
By:
Cider
When: 03 Dec 23 06:20
RULE UPDATE (23/11/23): This market will now be suspended at the time the voting lines open. It will not be reopened and will be settled when the 1st person eliminated is announced. Betfair will not be responsible for suspending the market when the announcement on voting opening is made. However, Betfair will suspend the market as soon as it becomes aware of an official announcement.

Effectively this means no more elimination markets on bfex.
