...that was never a low body shot by Dubois on Usyk - terrible refereeing decision and they gave Usyk a full 5 mins to catch his breath and recover - ridiculous!!
|
|
By:
yeah i backed dubois for that fight, totally robbed he was.
|
|
By:
I was one better army - I backed Dubois to win by KO/TKO which would have landed without that decision against him...
|
|
By:
i guess in the refs eyes it was to close to the line to let him lose his belts, just like a contentious VAR decision
|
|
By:
Indeed - I didn't feel it was the worst decision I've ever seen, but just a bit annoying, given it would have been a knockout. TBF people are still undecided whether it was low or not.

Problem is these bigger heavyweights need to actually punish the 'smaller' heavyweight instead of just moaning about getting it wrong somehow against Usyk every time e.g. Joshua, Dubois, Chisora, even Bellew! They should be knocking his head off, great fighter though he is.

One of his toughest fights was against a middleweight who stood and traded with him earlier in his career.

ofc you can be fooled by where the shorts are but it certainly looked just under the belly button region to me.

The partial settlement has gone through
|
|
By:
So I see. Everyone has gone up by about £100 here, but they've nicked it from my balance

Boxing is manly stuff GB
![]() TBF the only relevance is the lack of any real sports in the Beeb style SPOTY |

Seems like the opposite here fig, balance up. Probably at the expense of yours :)

By:
Crazy part settlement with a week to go.....
|
|
By:
Yep, always confusing and fairly pointless. My balance went up by 650. Must include liabilities i didn't know i had
|

I'll spunk it on some xmas crap now.

Broad coming in a bit.

Part settlement causes odd moves to happen.

But could be barmy army inspired gamble, lol.

I guess they're all your winning lays? Mostly a backer here, Housby
and Hempo |
|
By:
Army pissing his pants maybe, if you see him remind him broad has feck all chance
|
|
By:
Yeah, but my earps green has remained the same. Maybe just sent me an xmas bonus for being great :)

|
By:
joey barton tweets are that of a child on coke, slating lioness now saying some amateur team would beat them, the winner of the FA national sunday cup. Shame earps didn't have some competition really, just stretching her lead

What a poor list this is. For me there is only 1 deserving contender and that's Katrina Thompson-Johnson. The only one on this list with a genuine with a genuine achievement.
On sporting achievement alone, I'd rank them: KT-J Frankie Broad Mcilroy Earps Tennis player How Josh Kerr didn't make this list. To my mind it would be between him and KT-J |

I'd still have Kane, Haaland, and Bellingham ahead
of this field, but they would win, so sorry. They must be worried as they've been quiet on bbc... Don't wind up the woke wimmin haters... |

The BBC have vt's up if you scroll down.
Broad - decent VT, with a little bit of a narrative of Broad comming to the end of his career going out on a high beating Aus. 8/10 Frankie - poor vt, very little about him acheiving anything this year, I don't think he has enough good will in the bank to be rewarded for his career. 3/10 Mary - ok VT, It does not look like a VT that favours her against all others, meh, 6/10 Alfie - poor VT imo, more about his disability and his struggle than emphasizing his achievements. 4/10 (armys backed another loser) KJ-T - great VT with a very good come back narrative, and she loves her Nan. 9/10 Rory - very poor VT, looks more like a promo for Ryder cup Europe 2/10 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/sports-personality/67623729 |

Frankie 2
Rory 3 KJT 7 Earps 8 Broad 8 Alfie 9 |

I blame Simon Cowell, after being exposed to so many sob story vt's on BGT and Xfactor I am now immune to them
their power over the public may be diminished too!In the afternoon I like to lite the fire drink some wine and watch a place in the sun, every fecking advert on channel 166 of freeview is a charity begging one ![]() |

Alfie is a really decent bloke and has achieved so much this year. The most deserving winner of the award, imho.
|
|
By:
earps
alfie kjt i have a feeling would be a very decent result for a few on here |
|
By:
How do you see Broady doing army? You worried about Jimmy Anderson and cricketers of the past? Broady has had a great career
|
|
By:
For reference there's the free vote on bbc and phone voting too

Before womens footy took off the last few years big time and the evolution of the woke brigade running along side it, broad would of won probably down to a stupid career vote like gigs got.
My guess is coz of earps and beth last year there is gonna be vast amounts of women tuning in that would of never have entertained it previously, you have to think the voting demographic has changed a fair bit. if anything blokes are getting peeed off and there the ones not bothering now, with the women in sport takeover. coz of this i'd like to think alfie's VT may nick some of that womens vote The main worry i have with broad now is, the split women vote earps, alfie, kjt v the cricket vote but i guess that is more for the casuals. He may edge that vote, but then he's up against footy, tennis and athletic fans who are all giants in this voting award. i think the big clue is in the voting figures now being really low since Farah winning, why would they suddenly drop like that ? well thats what were led to believe coz they don't publish them anymore coz its embarrassing i guess. For me again this all points to men not voting and coincides with all that is woke and womens takeover of all sports, its certainly not down to women stopping voting is it ? most men are p1ssed off, for me that is the low vote counts and i'd say it will hurt broad the most. thats my take on it |
