Betfair only suspended the elimination market after the vote was closed. Really they should void transactions on the winner/top male/top 3 markets matched after the lines closed like they have done in the past, but for some reason not this series, or at least not last night. Perhaps there's been a change of staff?
That said Danzaa is risking bringing these markets into disrepute, and for what? massaging his ego? In the current climate, it's not beyond imagination that Betfair will stop offering these markets altogether. They are scaling down and pulling markets left right and centre. |
By:
I meant to say Betfair normally suspend all markets on lines closing.
By:
not void transactions, but really they should do both. Prolly only talking £50 though. A paltry sum for bringing the markets into disrepute
By:
I don't blame anyone for taking it. If they didn't someone else would have.
By:
If people didn't know already Betfair and Smarkets are both closing some winning accounts

Im sh1t scared of flying, even the tea cups spin me out...but it would be a great challenge, my speciality is games where you go around a board though, most of the games over there are boring games with lots of win lines. Pretty much what they have online and in bookies. Its pubs that have the games i can beat, where skill is involved. The other games are pretty much unbeatable, completely random. Thats actually the definition of fruit machines, they come under two categories. 1) Random - pretty much what it says, you can win jackpot on one press or it might take a thousand presses. 2) compensated - which is percentage driven, meaning once it hits tipping point it has to payout, i can get the percentage quicker than the average person by knowing the game inside out. |

Ok, it cut off my message. I was saying that Clydebank, army is talking a lot of nonsense and really has no clue what he's on about. The Voice, BGT, IAC and DOI all use the same app and the method of determining who is eliminated is the same across all of them. The system to see it isn't a hack and also has no relation to the part of the app/website that relates to voting. I gain no advantage whatsoever from posting these spoilers. Further, aside from Strictly and Eurovision I don't really bet that much anymore.

Yes Lifter i never read the whole footy gay world cup scenario from the start, that was my mistake. By the time i highlighted here it was too late really and i was already in a bad position on the market.

Losers pay the commission, not winners.
Pc excepted, if you lay £100 @evens and win, you get £98 and betfair gets £2. That £2 came out of the loser account, you never had it. Ergo if you never lose, you don't pay any commission at all, but do cannibalise the people that do. Hence the advent of PC, effectively forcing the players who never pay commission to start paying it. |
By:
ahhh right, makes sense why PC was introduced.
cheers cider |

Surely everyone has banned themselves from those? Even the temptation worried me. They make them look so pretty and fun but I've heard so many horror stories about fruit machines ruining lives and people blowing all of their inheritance on them.

I don't buy the Jill is boring angle. She's not Harry or toff to be sure, but the accent, manner and general disposition is of a normal person. Plus of course hits the zeitgeist in more than one area.
For sure she is getting every aid possible from the production team. As you would expect from this iteration of itv. I'd say if the finishing order is per the market, it's about the right result. Every man child has his limit, and a step too far to think that Hancock could actually win it. But witnessing the manifestation of the apparent panic behind the scenes has been pretty enjoyable. You sense that they are now comfortable with where they have it. |

but they are online on every gaming site, even poker sites have a link to their casino fruit machines.

By:
Yeah. can't escape them online. Shame there not beatable otherwise i'd never have to leave this seat.

By:
Never seen the appeal of those. The fun for me is trying to use my brain to beat the market. Not fun when playing against a **** algorithm
By:
Its not even fun when you know your going to win, after doing as long as i have..its simply a job like any other.

Anyone that can read code, would have a chance i guess

By:
i was a programmer for 12 years, still can't beat them, the code isn't open source lol
By:
yeah you'd have to buy a machine and then read the code off the mainframe, motherboard, wherever its stored

Insiders must really hate these short odds winners. Their 100k only bags them 20k profit, peanuts compared to previous years.

I still think this anti vote is not a powerful one, so many posts going up about wanting Matt to win, nothing to do with what he's done, they just want to see the after effects and uproar after.
Don't even sound like some have even watched an episode |
By:
Unfortunately I disagree, loads of talk shows/radio stations have been touching on the subject, celebrities tweeting out hate about Matt Hancock including hypocrite Piers Morgan, it could be a done deal.....
https://twitter.com/piersmorgan/status/1596815404265267200?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet This one has been doing the rounds https://twitter.com/TheTrawlPodcast/status/1596440948913111040 Matt voters have been too invested in trolling than strategising :/ |
By:
This is the only dirt I could find on Jill through google, if that got blown out of proportion and was all over Twitter I would feel somewhat more confident

How possible is it to buy votes and win? Rules state someone can call 600 times before it becomes suspicious. Seeing as Matt has a PR team running ads, it makes sense they would also explore this route. I wonder how many votes the winner usually gets.
By:
Im strangely confident the millions of viewers have taken the view of the thousands of FB posters that are clearly supporting Matt a lot more than the other two.
young and old included bring it on |
By:
Taken 2k of my Matt back, but will still leave a bit running, just in case

By:
Me too, but nowhere near as much as you Lifter, about £850.
