Aww cheers GB. Whenever i get to hear of selection details i always post them in here.
I have asked Betfair over a week ago to set up a market for Finland UMK 2017 when details came out at that time but no market has appeared yet even though they have set up a market for Sweden Melodifetivalen 2017 when details appeared for that after details appeared for Finland UMK 2017. I've asked Betfair today if they could set up a market for Switzerland Entscheidungsshow 2017 which they may set up or may not but its down to Betfair to decide on what markets they would like to appear on the exchange. If people would like to see markets on the exchange for Finland UMK 2017 and/or Switzerland Entscheidungsshow 2017 please do let Betfair know that you would like to see markets for these as the more people who are interested in having these markets on Betfair the more possibility i hope that Betfair will oblige and set up these markets. |

RTVSLO has just revealed the 16 names of the selected candidates that will compete at this year’s EMA. EMA 2017 is coming in a renewed format as a semi-final stage has been reintroduced. Each semi-final will feature 8 competing entries with only 4 of them qualifying for the final; 2 qualifiers will be determined by a professional jury panel, while the other 2 will be up to the audience’s choice. At the national final, to take place on February 24, the winner of EMA will be decided by a 50/50 mix of public televote and regional jury panel. MTVA, the Hungarian national broadcaster has revealed the names of the 30 candidates who will battle for the golden ticket to Kyiv at the 2017 Hungarian Eurovision national selection- A Dal 2017 along with the dates of the shows. Hungary will select its 2017 Eurovision act and entry on 18 February. The submission period for the Georgian National Selection ended with a total of 28 acts having applied. Earlier today TVE revealed the 10 acts who will battle for a ticket to the 2017 Spanish Eurovision national final Objectivo Eurovision, let’s check them out! http://esctoday.com/139230/spain-listen-10-eurocasting-entries One of these 10 acts will get the chance to try to represent Spain at the forthcoming 2017 Eurovision Song Contest when he/she will participate in the 2017 Spanish ESC national final next February. Now the 10 acts will be shortlisted to 3 by a special jury. Hereafter the lucky 3 will have to go through a live audition concert scheduled to be held on 12 January in Madrid. The best act from the Eurocasting will be awarded a place in the Spanish national final by a professional jury deliberation. |

ARMTV has held today the second semi-final of Depi Evratesil, show aimed to select the Armenian entrant for Eurovision 2017. A 50/50 mix of public SMS vote and professional jury decision has decided the two singers that will compete at the Grand Final to be held next week, Artsvik and Marta. This was the second show of Depi Evratesil broadcast live with the audience taking part in the decision, as a 50/50 combination of jury and SMS vote decided the overall outcome. PBS, the Maltese national broadcaster, has released the final 16 participants ready to compete in the country’s national final for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The 16 participants will compete in MESC 2017 on the 18 February 2017; this is the first time in recent years that the Maltese selection process has only consisted of 1 final show, with the semi-final stage being eliminated.
