It's probably the biggest indictment of this year's comp that while I was underwhelmed by Russia I'm finding it increasingly hard to make a case for anything else to come along and beat it.
France staging lets down a good song Ukraine has got the power to WOW but it's controversial nature might mean a lot of people don't approve or even get that emotion Australia - dull Malta - dull (boobs are fantastic though )Sweden - song OK but poor draw Spain - can a giant country not find decent backing singers?? |

I never understood the prices for Austria qualifying simply because the reaction she got at pre-ESC concerts was generally amongst the best of the lot. Yes it's fluffy and sweet but for many fans it's perfect ESC fodder.
