Baffles me mate. Top tune is that...but too classy for ESC IMO. Supersonic by Laura on the other hand I thought was perfect for this comp. After all the love Eesti Laul got recently and now they don't even qualify. Madness.

If they could have just replaced the words 'Czech Republic' with the word 'Iceland' it would have been a decent night.

Still, as long my pattern of one losing semi and winning semi every single time since 2010 carries on then I guess Thursday is where I make my money this year!

Last year's Iceland non-qualification was purely down to the terrible performance. This year's was the lack of voting friends. In hindsight, no Denmark, Sweden, Ireland or Norway didn't help the cause. Will be interesting to see the voting breakdown for this semi

I wasn't a fan of Laura but I'm sure it would have qualified in that poor semi. As would 3 or 4 others. Patience, Sally and Sies for sure

Agreed. I was initially a fan of the songs that came out in early Feb given the big guns were still to come. But nothing great ever materialised after the encouraging start. Still enough to keep me interested as an ESC fan but this is the worst year of the last 7 for sure.

Hard to argue with that. I love quite a few songs this year but maybe not iTunes friendly songs.
