Shows we're all different, FLL. I just heard that Iceland song by Greta and had a few quid on it. THis in addition to my accidental back at 12 in December!!
Bear in mind Iceland usually then switch to English nearer the time and I think we have one that is lively from the first listen plus the decent stage show (obvious variation on Mans last year.) Can a shadow/light act win again? It does make me wonder (UK had had two dog acts win in a 4 year span so good shows can win regardless of whether it's a bit of copy) but I think the current odds of 36-38 are definitely high enough to trade on. BACK at 38- this baby will be back in the teens at some point |

Some great tunes about that haven't a hope of winning the contest but I've enjoyed listening to them all the same.
A number of good Estonian songs (love the Zebra Island one and Grete Paia) plus the Jamala track which won in Ukraine last night. Very haunting but captivating in the way Birds by Anouk stood out for being different in 2013. Not sure the lyrics will scream out 'party time' but given we've had high finishes for songs about child abuse and divorce in recent times, this one could still trade on the sympathy vote that Ukraine will no doubt attract after two years of war http://lyricstranslate.com/en/jamala-1944-lyrics.html#ixzz3zVxqNJOS When strangers are coming... They come to your house, They kill you all and say, We’re not guilty not guilty. Where is your mind? Humanity cries. You think you are gods. But everyone dies. Don't swallow my soul. Our souls Yaşlığıma toyalmadım Men bu yerde yaşalmadım Yaşlığıma toyalmadım Men bu yerde yaşalmadım We could build a future Where people are free to live and love. The happiest time. Where is your heart? Humanity rise. You think you are gods But everyone dies. Don't swallow my soul. Our souls Yaşlığıma toyalmadım Men bu yerde yaşalmadım Yaşlığıma toyalmadım Men bu yerde yaşalmadım |

For those of you who watch The Chase on ITV, I'm reliably informed that despite my name not appearing on Sky Planner for Tuesday's show, that they've changed the schedule and the show I recorded in October will be shown.
Reason I mention it on here is that when chatting to Bradley Walsh, we manage to get to talking about betting on Eurovision, and I give a mention of some of the bets flagged up on here, so whoever it was who tipped up Greece for semi final glory in 2011, you can take a bow when I'm first up on Tuesday's show. You watch, they'll go and edit that bit out now that I've mentioned it!! ![]() |

lol n1 honest. I'm more of a pointless person myself (I've left myself wide open there) but do enjoy the Chase occasionally too.
I'll definitely be tuning in tomorrow ![]() |

I like the song. It's definitely one of the better ones we've heard. I thought he sang it well live. My problem is I don't find him a particularly compelling performer
The market has settled at 15 ish, which looks on the short side to me, but not crazily so |

I'll definitely be tuning in tomorrow _____________________ I like Pointless but there's not enough questions on it for me. I like the bombardment of questions on The Chase. That said, I suspect you'll see the colour drain from my face at the start of my Cash Builder as I eff up for the first ten seconds before finally getting into a rhythym. For those few seconds the idea of the genteel pace of Pointless seemed rather appealing! |

This seems to be their only actual track of that name so it must be the one (from the album Masters Of Chant X). |

Extremely Meatloafy. I think the German price is based on the hope that Jamie-Lee wins

San Remo, Italy qualifiers tonight are all rubbish unfortunately.
I find Supernova, Latvia qualifier Justs – Heartbeat to be an interesting one. I actually think it’s more accessible that Love Injected. And Love Injected went from abysmal visuals at Supernova to spectacular visuals at ESC, so there is potential. |

Love Injected is in a different league for me. Even with the Riga Beaver dancing to it. Ofc that may well be partly down to the fact that I'm far more familiar with it
