Marc is vulnerable, but I think a very likely winner in the final on current course.

Simple, Marc is vulnerable to an eviction, but is a very unlikely winner even if he finals.

So same as Helen at this stage last year

Re Marc, the market has looked at Helen's win, added 2 + 2 and come up with 10. So last year, Helen had a free pass to the final, prods on her side, a perfect storm and was 33-1 in the final week.

Helen was never the viewers favourite till final night.

I assume you're saying Marc is currently the viewers' fav, on what basis?
By:

I am saying that you are wrong in saying his price is based on false assumptions about what happened to Helen.

You don't think Helen's win has influenced Marc's price at all Grin ok we'll agree to disagree on that one Happy

So you're saying he's right then

No I was getting him to clarify his position as his post implied that Marc's market position was solely based on comparisons to Helen...hth Wink

I don't think his post implied the price was based solely on Helen comparisons, merely influenced. hth

Confirms it was ambiguous then

Are you on the smelling salts this morning Bails Laugh

Let's try a non-ambiguous question, do you think Marc will win the show? A Yes or No will suffice. Odds against a non ambiguous answer, however Wink

To avoid ambiguity, my answer to that question would be No. Cool.

He might....and that is an unambiguous answer Wink

Who do you think will win Cider?

Don't know, I doubt the events that will help determine the winner have occurred yet.

It's frustrating and at the same time, one of the most interesting BB o/r markets ever.

Right now Marc has Jade, Sam, Simon and himself obviously with him

Against we have Harry, Danny, Christian, Jack, Chloe (Nick)

In the middle Joel, (Nick)

If Harry goes I think BB can easily sway Nick over to his side by showing some of the convos the 4 other had about him.
He has also sweetened Joel a bit by telling him he was the favorite and to keep being himself.

If two go and one is Harry I do believe Marc has control of the house so he could escape nominations to the final as he is very good at manipulation.

Can he win after that he has a long time to win back the public and straighten his image.

One big way BB has changed is that now nobody goes into the Dr thinking their noms will remain confidential for long. Therefore most of the house may be too intimidated to nom Marc in the same way that face to face nominations noticeably changed things in previous bb's.

Since I don't think any runner has an odds on chance of winning, should we just sit it out until we know who will win?

I'm not trying to find the winner at this early stage, just runners that are in my estimation going to trade lower with decent liquidity to trade.
For me Marc is such a runner, right now he is a 'hold'in my book.
I also have nick, Joel, Danny and jack decent greens, the rest level.

I sense things have changed with regards to Marc
When he went in he was seen as the saviour of the show, helped by the cheer leaders on BOTS
He's now sucking up to the spawn of the devil and the most astute BB player ever in Belo has called him evil
At the same time the boring buggers are starting to show more life and personality. Even Chloe
He's done his job now and with the promise of more ex hm's going in to keep the viewers entertained and to further undermine Marc, he'll be seen by more and more viewers as the juiced up, aggressive, foul mouthed koont that he is

Cockles said the other exhousemates are going in this week for a freeze task.
that could be the end of the legends, leaving Marc very much needed, he will calm down given time.

If Marc was to leave next week, I think we would could all write the nominations, week on week to the final, prods dont want that kind of predictability

Someone just had a dose of fat finger? Seven minutes ago, someone laid my 6.6 Marc that I`d left up speculatively. (Only trading, boys, he still doesn`t win.)

Blimey that was interesting. Very good for Marc.....confirmation he's really a good guy from a semi BB legend. Maybe even on BB orders but that would be even better for him. I bet she wanted to squeeze his package while she was kissing him.....she could squeeze mine any time.

No squeezing desire from her, just deference to the alpha male who is degenerate so needs praise to dissuade him from starting to pick on her son.

It's funny how some people seem to interpret a runner's price as their true chance of winning Grin

Not me Cider. I'm one of the few who wants Marc to win just for the craic as he's almost exact same green as the other jointish favs. Plenty of others book talking though Wink

Wasn't last year peeps admitted to backing that dork from essex because his price was coming in. I suppose it's the ultimate skill to look past the prevailing market price (and judging the true price).
