Well, actually, if you add BBC1 and ITV together (was b'cast on both) Queen's message was number 1, with 7.8m #tvratings

queen message the below applies:

In the case of shows which have more than one episode on Christmas Day, the highest figure of those episodes will count (and not an average or cumulative amount).

MBB settled as the winner
Still not sure how Miranda can peak at 10.4M and yet average 6.6

yep cnman rules should be slightly ammended for next year.

My argument would be...there was no mention of it on the rules, and it's exactly the same show. Also there should really have been Queen's Speech (BBC) and Queen's Speech (ITV) if they were gonna only settle it on the highest.

Anyway, my position on here was levelled up, but I suspect bookies will settle the same way

is their market settled on overnight figures? if not then i guess that's why they haven't settled yet

Anyone else backed Queens Speech on here and been settled as a loser, there is a rule about different episodes on same day but this is the same programme at same time...?

I levelled up my queen's speech back on here, but had a tiny bit more green on it than the rest. I couldn't be bothered to raise it with them for the amount it was worth to me

I wasn't on with them but SJ and Victor have paid out now as well on Queen's Speech.

Leaves just Coral and Ladbrokes left out of the traditional bookmakers I think

Did BF include itv+1 and ch4+1 in the figures, if so the queens speech should be included imo, if not seems the right decision.

I would personally lose out if it was settled like this, but if TQS was only listed once, and the individual channel was not distinguished/specified, then the combined figures should be used. My understanding is that it's exactly the same show broadcast, and they take turns to produce it. BBC, ITV and Sky? It's not like a World cup Final or a Royal Wedding for example, which are different productions of the same event.

Planning starts early with The Queen's choice of a theme which she wishes to address. Appropriate footage is then filmed during various public engagements - and occasionally private events - during the remainder of the year. Since 1997, the BBC and ITV have alternated in filming and producing the Broadcast every two years

Difference is that those are repeats rather than simulcasts which is quite different (i.e. in theory with repeats the same person could be watching it twice, but not really with simulcast).

Think it is a very difficult and unique situation though and especially tough for betfair compared to normal bookmakers.

And yeah it is exactly the same show Cider, produced this year by BBC

I don't really know what 365 are waiting for. The official overnights have been released. It's the interpretation of the results that is open to question.

This market always a nightmare - after my previous experience glad I did'nt play it this year (or last either). Rules from BF are always ridiculously badly stated, and they don't admit any liability for that. Avoid this market in future IMO.
