armagnac, crying over Jimmy leaving isn't good at all. Actually it is quite pathetic if you consider the context.

on reflection i have an answer for the foggy money after he appeared to be rude and quite sharp over the trial.
now im southern and have a friend who is northern and is very similar too foggy, there humour is very abrupt and in your face...its actually quite different to people down south, as im sure many of us thought it was close to the mark. in the heat of the moment watching it, it could of appeared too many as a negative but i assure you it was just 'northern humour' so it probably makes sense, that too northerners watching.. foggy had a cracking show after his tears, he added the comedy. thats my take anyhow, unless you know someone like foggy or get there humour its hard too believe. it wasnt as bad as some thought, but he's still projecting that to a wide audience. probably gone a bit marmite over it, at worst...many see it as he wants the camp to eat well anyway. just its not as bad as 1st thought right carry on with your housework |

just bought some back at the cost of jake, he's getting negative comments over having a girl friend.
sleazebag will capture the young vote but as we seen with gogglebox george it didnt amount too much. i really think the older viewer will go for the mature camp mate as they like too. any vote transference will go to the oldie left in as they are all quite good this year |

eddie, burk and foggy are the three leaders now on DS
say what you like about that forum, they cant be that wrong too say all 3 have no chance |

My RTV gut instinct tells me that the fairer sex will not be especially impressed with foggy over the last few days, if he was trading @9 I would be topping up, @5 I've got to sell.
I've moved to the oldie train, Buerk and Edwina. |

I spent only 8 years of my childhood in the North, the other shedload in the South. My heart still lies up north. There's a reason why people vote for their own in the north and that is because the bond is that much stronger.
|
|
By:
Ofc the front 3 in the market are all northerners.
|
|
By:
interestingly and unusually, this show seems to be one where proper Northerners don't have the greatest of records
|
|
By:
There's only been 5 up to now. Kerry McFadden Shaun Ryder Anthony Cotton and Cannon + Ball. That's a pretty decent record. I always thought Lucy Pargeter was. She sounds like it but turns out shes from Nottingham. Still 3 in this series and they are the front 3 in the betting.
|
|
By:
Lucy a northerner by proxy I guess because she stars in Emmerdale
.And she was hugely underestimated in the market |
|
By:
I missed out Freddie Starr but he shouldn't count since he pulled out for ill health.

i fully agree with this post, and i think the reason there not massively successful as posted by squares is that the majority of the population is in the south i think ??

|
By:
but the perception is that Northern people do really well in other reality / talent shows as they have a strong committed core vote and Northerners vote far more than Southerners in general and certainly far more for "their own".
|
|
By:
whether thats true or not squares i do not know, but that is the feeling i get.
proper northerners seem too stick by one another a lot more than us southern folk do like clyde said there bond is stronger |

that's what i've been saying

There's two things that count in getting reality show votes. Worthiness/deserving and emotional connection.

wot clyde says and we wont be sinking

I thought Foggy was too unemotional and harsh to win, but I've been backing him since the day of the first eviction. He's lightening up and opening up and ticking the box that was missing. He's got momentum and is easily the most popular on social media, with plenty of female support evident, and has the btt tonight, so there's no reason for it to stop. He also has the added advantage of getting Jimmy votes by proxy. No one dislikes him, which of the principles you can only say about Michael, so he will be the default choice of many. There's a lot to like.
