Monday morning after Judges Houses weekend where we saw the 24 culled down to 12. The market was put in play during the two shows and suspended whilst the final 3 were chosen for each category.

There were no huge shocks. The shortest priced acts not going through were Simon Lynch and Jennifer Phillips, who were both trading around the 30 mark on Saturday morning.

Tuesday morning, after the first weekend of live shows and eliminations of Bupsi ("do you know what") and Alien Uncovered (or Nation if you're Cowell). Just before Sunday's show, Alien Uncovered were trading mid 20s and Bupsi in the 400s (I doubt any act has been this high a price whilst still in the competition).

The theme was THIS IS ME but bizarrely in most of the VTs shown on Saturday we saw the acts being TOLD what they are going to sing. The voting lines opened after all the acts had performed. Bupsi sang in 10th position and Alien Uncovered in 3rd.

Apart from the occasional standing ovation by an act's mentor, Louisa and Monica had all 4 judges standing up.

This is a long posting but there were a couple of long odds on shots turned over...

We knew from Thursday there would be a double elimination and Betfair had 3rd + 4th Elimination markets loaded as well as Bottom 3 and Two To Go.
The order the acts were called safe (in "no particular order") were 4th Impact, Max, Louisa, R'n'B, Monica, Ché, Lauren, Anton.
Kiera was revealed as bottom of the vote and eliminated.
Mason sang first (atrociously) then Seann (well). Simon then Cheryl saved Seann. Rita saved Mason as she "liked him more" then Nick (mentor to both) saved Mason to be fair in letting the public decide by sending it to deadlock. Seann was revealed as 2nd bottom of the vote.

We were again told on Thursday's Xtra-factor show there would be a double elimination but strangely there was no mention of it on Saturday's show. At the beginning of Sunday's show it was confirmed. After last Saturday's show Lauren was trading 1.4s to go. Ché low/mid 4s, RnB 8-10 range, Louisa 260 to back
Sunday 1pm...Lauren 1.45 - 4.47, Ché 3.95 - 4.2, RnB 14 - 16, Louisa 320 to back. Prices stayed around these levels until the show
At 20:04 Olly said the vote was "so so close", but it looks like he's now saying this every week and anyway we have no clue between who
At 20:20, just before lines closed, Lauren was shorter at 1.31 - 1.4, Ché 5 - 5.5, RnB 15 to back
Lines closed 20:22. Flack said there had been "over 3 mil votes"

Lauren had traded between 1.97 and 1.32 with lpm 1.38
Ché had £19 matched at 5.8, £50 at 5.3 then traded between 5 and 2.82 + £19 matched at 2.48. Lpm was 5
RnB traded between 18 and 3.55 with lpm 15
Louisa's lpm was 240
£46,726 was matched at this suspension

The order the acts were called safe (in "no particular order") were RnB then Louisa leaving Ché (outright lpm 16) and Lauren (outright lpm 38) bottom 2
When the market reopened, Lauren was trading between 1.24 and 1.3. She sang first, coming on stage in tears, and was 1.32, shortening to 1.26 after her song
Ché was 4.5 before singing, 4.9 afterwards. Lauren was now 1.24
Nick saved Ché, Rita saved Lauren then Cheryl saved Ché. At this point the market was again suspended early. Simon then saved Lauren to send it to deadlock
Lauren's lowest matched during the sing-off/judges decision was 1.21 with lpm 1.35. Ché's lpm was 3.75
The final amount matched was £65,355
Lauren's last price matched in the outright before being eliminated was 55


The Bottom 2 Market

Not sure how or when (must have been earlier in the week) but Lauren had plenty of money matched between 2.4 and 3

Louisa had the pimp in the very first audition show and was virtually favourite from pillar to post. Kiera I think matched her price on Betfair very briefly during the Bootcamp stage

At 5pm on the Saturday of the final Louisa was trading 1.18 - 1.19, RnB 7.8 - 8, Ché 32 - 34 with £1,930,587 matched

This market only really came to life during the show

Louisa traded £2 at 250, £2 at 240 then between 55 and 20 but only small amounts matched. Lpm 250

Early Sunday morning RnB shortened from 10s & 11s down to 8s
At 5pm Sunday Louisa was trading 1.12 - 1.13 and had been matched down to 1.09 plus a couple of hundred at 1.08. RnB were 8.6 - 8.8

Sunday's show (8pm start)
8:00pm prices were 1.14 and 8.2 with £2,521,028 matched
8:26pm RnB up first and were 7.8 before (Louisa 1.15) and 7.4 after singing (Louisa 1.17)
The crowd was cheering like crazy and RnB shortened down to 6s then to a low of 5 with Louisa touching 1.24
8:40pm Louisa about to sing and was 1.23, RnB 5.4
After singing Louisa shortened to 1.18 then 1.16 a couple of minutes later
9:15pm RnB about to sing the "winners song" and were 7.4 (Louisa 1.15)
At the end of the song they had drifted to 9 (Louisa 1.13)
9:23pm Louisa about to sing the same song and was 1.1 before, 1.09 after with 1.08 having got matched again
