Monday morning after Judges Houses weekend where we saw the 24 culled down to 12. The market was put in play during the two shows and suspended whilst the final 3 were chosen for each category.

There were no huge shocks. The shortest priced acts not going through were Simon Lynch and Jennifer Phillips, who were both trading around the 30 mark on Saturday morning.

Betfair prices for the final 12:

3.25 - 3.3          Louisa Johnson            (had drifted from high 3s to trading between 4 to 4.3 over the weekend, shortening during her JH performance to around 3.5, shortened further overnight)
7.6 - 7.8          4th Impact
7.8 - 8          Che Chesterman
9.4 - 9.8          Anton Stephans            (had shortened a little to 16 before singing Saturday, shortened to 9s afterwards)
10 - 11            Seann Miley Moore
13 - 13.5          Lauren Murray            (had shortened to mid 20s Saturday morning, low 20s Sunday morning, then where she is now after singing)
19.5 - 21          Kiera Weathers            (had drifted to low 20s on worries she might not get through, shortened to around 15 afterwards but has now drifted back out again)
21 - 22           Mason Noise          (40 Friday morning, 34 Saturday morning, 27 after singing Saturday, 23 Sunday afternoon, now near lows)
30 - 34           Max Stone          (140 Friday morning, 150 Saturday 6pm, was a somewhat surprise being put through [unless you're a bear, wp])
32 - 36           Alien Uncovered
110 - 130        Reggie n Bollie
220 - 290       Bupsi

Everyone else is 1000 to back apart from Monica Michael who is 350 - 1000 and Jennifer Phillips who is 250 - 880

Footnote to above post, should have mentioned Max shortened from 3 figures to around 60 to 70 after singing on Saturday, then obviously shortened further after being put through.

Of the above prices, Lauren has been shortening, matched at 8.6 yesterday, trading low 9s in the evening but 9.8 - 10.5 right now. Kiera drifting and now 24.

There are rumours of some Wildcard action and we now have the following who are not 1000 to back:

Monica Michael          100 - 180, lpm 120, matched at 70 yesterday
Josh Daniel          180 - 300, lpm 330
Jennifer Phillips          230 - 970, lpm 750

Ben Clarke          420 to back, lpm 490
New Kings Order          510 to back, lpm 1000

This series there is an ITV2 Xtra Factor show every Thursday evening (plus one on Sunday), and what a shambles of a show it was. However, sadly it has to be watched as last night they announced that Monica Michael has been chosen by the 4 judges as a wildcard contestant and some of the song choices for Saturday were announced.

Betfair prices for the final 13:

3.45 - 3.5          Louisa Johnson
8 - 8.2             4th Impact
8.4 - 8.8           Che Chesterman

10.5 - 11           Anton Stephans
11.5 - 12           Lauren Murray            (drifted back out a little after the Monica news)
23 - 25            Mason Noise
24 - 28            Kiera Weathers            (getting matched at 28, her highest traded)
28 - 29            Alien Uncovered
36 - 38            Max Stone

First Elimination - Bupsi
Second Elimination - Alien Uncovered

At the end of Saturday's show we were led to believe one act would be leaving on Sunday. Betfair then loaded a Bottom 2 market. At the beginning of Sunday's show it was announced there would be two acts leaving.

The order the acts were called safe (in "no particular order") were Che, R&B, Louisa, Seann, Max, Lauren, Anton, Mason, 4th Impact & Monica.
It was then revealed Bupsi was bottom of the vote and eliminated.
Alien Uncovered sang first, then Kiera (who sang the better), and Nick then Simon decided to send the Aliens home.

The first elimination market
On Saturday morning Bupsi was trading around 2.7. After the show had finished, she was around 3.5. Max was 2.9s, Kiera around 3.7
On Sunday morning, Bupsi was around 3.1 and Kiera & Max both around 3.6
By 7pm, Bupsi had shortened and was trading 2.4s, Kiera 3.3, Max drifted all day and was now 6, Alien Uncovered were mid 20s
As soon as it was announced two would be leaving, Bupsi went odds on with a couple of grand trying to back at 1.71

Last prices matched - 1.69 Bupsi, 4 Kiera, 11 Max, 18 Mason, 40 Alien Uncovered, triple digits everyone else
Bupsi was matched between 4.1 and 1.6.
Kiera was matched between 21 and 2.92, Max between 13 and 2.2 & Alien Uncovered between 40 and 8
Lines closed at 20:25 and £51,287 was matched in total

Betfair subsequently voided the Bottom Two market, which had £4,783 matched.
A couple of bookies had prices for the second elimination, with Kiera the long odds on fav. I saw Aliens at 3/1

Tuesday morning, after the first weekend of live shows and eliminations of Bupsi ("do you know what") and Alien Uncovered (or Nation if you're Cowell). Just before Sunday's show, Alien Uncovered were trading mid 20s and Bupsi in the 400s (I doubt any act has been this high a price whilst still in the competition).

The theme was THIS IS ME but bizarrely in most of the VTs shown on Saturday we saw the acts being TOLD what they are going to sing. The voting lines opened after all the acts had performed. Bupsi sang in 10th position and Alien Uncovered in 3rd.

Apart from the occasional standing ovation by an act's mentor, Louisa and Monica had all 4 judges standing up.

Current Betfair prices for the remaining 11:

2.34 - 2.38           Louisa Johnson       (3.65 before show, 3.3 before singing, 3 after then shorter, 2.6s after show, 2.8 Sunday 10am, 2.6s Sunday 7pm, 2.38 matched at 8:15pm, 2.6s Sunday 9:40pm)
7.6 - 7.8            Che Chesterman       (getting matched at his low of 7 just before singing, 8 after, 9 after show, 8 Sunday 10am)
9 - 9.4             4th Impact       (7.4 before singing, 9.4 after, 10 after show, 11 Sunday 10am, 9s Sunday 9:40pm)
10 - 10.5            Lauren Murray       (13 before singing, 14 after, 15 after show, 11 Sunday 10am)
17 - 17.5            Anton Stephans       (9.6 before singing, 8 matched during his song, settled at 9 after, 12 after show, 10 Sunday 10am, 10.5 Sunday 9:40pm)
19.5 - 20            Seann Miley Moore       (mid/high 8s before show, mid/high 7s before singing (in pimp), 10 after, 12 after show, 15.5 Sunday 10am)
20 - 21              Monica Michael       (42 before show, 36 before singing, 24 then 20 after, 19 after show, 18 Sunday 10am)
28 - 29              Mason Noise       (18 before signing, 23 after, 30 after show, 34 Sunday 10am, 27 Sunday 7pm, 30 Sunday 10pm)
38 - 44              Max Stone       (38 before singing, 50s+ after, still 50 after show, same Sunday 10am, mid 30s Sunday 9:40pm)
55 - 60              Kiera Weathers       (22 before singing, 50 after, 75 after show, 95-150 Sunday 10am, 70 Sunday 9:40pm)
85 - 90              Reggie n Bollie       (100 before show, 75+ before singing, 65 after, same price after show, same Sunday 10am, 80 Sunday 7pm)

Additional comments - Louisa continued to shorten yesterday and was matched at a low of 2.3 in the evening. Around 10pm Sunday news broke of negative newspaper stories about Anton and his childhood adoption situation which caused his price to shoot out to around 16/17.

3rd Elimination - Kiera
4th Elimination - Seann Miley Moore  Shocked

I no like these double eliminations, I'm having to frantically note and C&P info and screen shots from several markets!
This is a long posting but there were a couple of long odds on shots turned over...

We knew from Thursday there would be a double elimination and Betfair had 3rd + 4th Elimination markets loaded as well as Bottom 3 and Two To Go.
The order the acts were called safe (in "no particular order") were 4th Impact, Max, Louisa, R'n'B, Monica, Ché, Lauren, Anton.
Kiera was revealed as bottom of the vote and eliminated.
Mason sang first (atrociously) then Seann (well). Simon then Cheryl saved Seann. Rita saved Mason as she "liked him more" then Nick (mentor to both) saved Mason to be fair in letting the public decide by sending it to deadlock. Seann was revealed as 2nd bottom of the vote.

The 3rd Elimination Market
On Tuesday a handful of bookies had priced up and Kiera was between 2/1 and 11/4 fav, 3/1 R'n'B, 7/2 Max, 6/1 Mason, 10/1 Monica, 16/1 Lauren, 20/1 Seann, 40/1 bar
Friday morning, R'n'B 11/4 favs, 3/1 Kiera, 7/2 Max, 6/1 Mason, 12/1 Monica, 20/1 Seann, 25/1 Lauren, 40/1 bar
Just before the show on Betfair Kiera was around 2.8, 4.6 R'n'B, mid 6s Max, 7-9 Mason, 9.4-11 Monica, 23-26 Anton, 65-85 Seann
11pm Saturday, Kiera was 2.1-2.42, Monica 3.5-4.5, Mason 6.2-7.6, 15 bar
Early Sunday morning someone had 1.5k trying to back Kiera at 2.2, then 2.1 before moving and getting it matched at Evs around 11am. Monica was 4.2, Mason 8 at this time
After this lump had been matched, Kiera then steadily drifted the rest of the day, was 2.8 at 7pm, whilst Monica had now been backed in, shortening all afternoon and was also around 2.8

Last prices matched when lines closed at 8:25pm - 2.5 Monica, 3.05 Kiera, 5.5 Mason, 14.5 Anton, 16 Max, 27 4th Impact, 44 Seann
Kiera was matched between 2 and 4.9 (that lump mostly being matched at lowest price)
Monica was matched between 14 (apart from £5 at 18 & 18.5) and 2.32
Mason was matched between 11.5 and 4.6. Anton's low was 9 and Seann was matched between 130 and 55 (plus £7 down to 26)
£40,266 was matched in total. Kiera's last price matched in the outright market was 220

5th Elimination - Max Stone
6th Elimination - Monica Michael

We were again told on Thursday's Xtra-factor show there would be a double elimination but strangely there was no mention of it on Saturday's show. At the beginning of Sunday's show it was confirmed. Betfair had 5th + 6th Elimination markets as well as Bottom 3 and Two To Go, the latter three being loaded Friday. Lauren & Monica had a late change of song due to the attacks in Paris.

Caroline announced there had been "over 2.5 million votes"
The order the acts were called safe (in "no particular order") were Mason, Lauren, Ché, RnB, Louisa & 4th Impact

Max was revealed as bottom of the vote and eliminated
Monica sang first then Anton. Nick saved Anton, Rita saved Monica, Cheryl saved Monica then Simon saved Anton to send it to deadlock. After a confused Olly made a mess of things, it was announced Monica was 2nd bottom of the vote and eliminated

The 5th Elimination Market
Last Monday Mason was fav to go at 2/1, Monica 5/2, Max 5/1, RnB 7/1, Anton 10/1, 20s bar

The order the acts were called safe (in "no particular order") were Lauren, Ché, Louisa, RnB, leaving Mason, Anton & 4th Impact. Carolyn then said "it does not mean these 3 are the bottom 3" before Mason was announced as bottom of the vote and eliminated

Mason's performance was not good and his price was smashed in during and afterwards
After all songs, Mason was trading 1.9s. Anton 3.5 , 3th Impact 7 to 10, Ché 13 to 15, 50+ bar
