The absolute horse sh*t that cascades from Cowell's lips still astonishes me. His ability to say stuff with such sincerity & conviction, & claim the rubbish he flogs on his shows is world class, has enabled him to build an enormous empire despite it all being the equivalent of Poundstretcher in entertainment form.
