Can never have enough Lena, Clay
![]() Just got round to listening to some of the Estonian songs jr and have replied to your email |
By:
Betfred has Outright prices up - don't get too excited - shocking percentages - but at least it starts the ball rolling.
By:
bwin also have some markets up
By:
Cheers jr. I just noticed betfred have a full market up. I very much doubt they'd take a decent bet even on unrestricted accounts, but well done to them for pricing it up so early.

Hi can one of you Eurovision "die hards" tell me what countries have already chosen their songs please.
By:
not sure I'm a "die hard",
but artists and songs for: Albania Belarus Belgium Denmark France Lithuania Switzerland Ukraine some of the real die hards can tell you if there are any otters |
By:
Thanks Squares :)
By:
ESC/malmo site is good for updates + a calendar for when countries are choosing their representatives.
By:
I think that's all of them squares
All should be on youtube. The market has been most impressed with Denmark |
By:
disappointing that this thread is so quiet. Surely if the die hards were flagging up qualifying info, etc., it might help drum up more interest and hence more liquidity?
By:
True it's been quiet. I shall put up the youtube links to all the qualifiers tomorrow. The eurovision forumites haven't been around either, which hasn't helped.
By:
cheers FLL - hopefully drum up a bit more interest, and it certainly goes bonkers when those only around for ESC arrive

By:
they make army appear subdued
By:
yes, there are some right 'characters' |
By:
The market has passed the 1000 matched now.
I laid Germany down to 8. |
By:
And Denmark has been popular, but is rather wishy washy for me.

Top 10 & Top 4 markets up. About time too. Keep emailing BF over ESC markets but they refuse to play ball. See no reason why they can't put up semi-final markets, but probably requires too much effort.
By:
Yes, I saw that top 10 and 4 markets are up.
It might be wort using twitter jr. They tend to respond faster and more positively on there. Altho still take plenty of prompting. |
By:
So here are the songs so far. I hope I don't miss any.
Albania - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ivu0DHMC7Gw Belarus - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm7_DCFhgUM (the song might be changed tho) Belgium - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIXLpyjneRE |

Denmark the best we've heard so far. The big guns yet to show their hands though and one of the others is my personal favourite.
By:
that'll be the wailing weirdo ;)
By:
seriously tho, good work - fairly quiet time for specials so hopefully a few more can start getting into the long-term stuff like ESC
By:
LOL That doesn't narrow things down much when it comes to Eurovision

By:
Malta makes me smile. Who couldn't like a song with an opening lyric of 'His name is Jeremy and he's working in IT'
By:
could be a B'ton anthem

By:
I'm voting for the Salvation Army Oompah Band

Please back them too Hems

2 more national finals this Saturday - Norway & Finland. Some high st prices up on Norway & Unibet has Finland final odds also.
By:
I wish my namesake would go on this.
It's about the only way she's going to break out of the perpetual Girls Aloud 'reunion in bognor' circuit and go international |
By:
but she can't sing
By:
even on her original pop idol type thing she was put through on looks
By:
Been watching Denmark - surely too close to Euphoria as an entry. These copycats don't usually do well?
By:
It's a very different song but the performance is similar
By:
I certainly wouldn't say 'very' different song. There's already quite a few comments on Youtube making the same comparison.
By:
I did think Europhoria 1st time I watched it.
The singer starting on the floor and her general performance. I don't think the songs had a huge amount in common. Will have another listen |
By:
I still find her arm annoying. Am I the only one?
Also she looks rather scary til she smiles at the end. I'm happy to lay at these prices. |
By:
doesn't remind me of Euphoria apart from maybe a few bits of the staging/some of her movements (but they're sort of basic lyrical dance moves with the arms, etc.).
Tone of her voice, marching aspect of the song and instruments used reminds me much more of the soft of stuff Shakira has done - Whenever Wherever in particular. few crazy lyrics thrown in for good measure Lucky that my lips not only mumble They spill kisses like a fountain Lucky that my breasts are small and humble So you don't confuse them with mountains Lucky I have strong legs like my mother To run for cover when I need it And these two eyes are for no other The day you leave will cry a river I was also thinking there is something needy and desperate about the way the singer performs, but then maybe that's because she reminds me of that bint carrying around the big heart in the Roger Sanchez vid - Another chance. |
