Last yer they had top skaters Sam and Laura as team captains and they chose their team members. Interesting to see if it is done the same way this year. |

Got ante post bets on Matthew and Jorgie yet dont think i've ever been so lethargic and disinterested about a specials market. Feels like the event as a betting medium has died a death after about week 2 or 3 and everyone has given up.

I know I have been in Jen's camp from Day 1, but I strongly believe if both her and Andy can make the semi final, one of them could provide an upset in the final. I favour Jen over Corrie Boy but you never know...
I am on Matthew too - I confess I missed the boat on Jorgie, as I have been sure since the start Jen will outpoll her. I did not however expect there to be such a difference in abilities between the 2, and by the time this was evident, any hope of a good price had gone. A lesson for next time lol. |

She looks like the only potential value left in the market.
I was surprised at how good her core skating skills were last week. Miles behind the front 2 obviously, but much better than I was expecting. She was also very good this week. She comes over extremely well and has shown before she's capable of winning one of these shows. Probably wasted money, but she'd my biggest green now given her price. |

Dancing On Ice star Chico has been struggling in rehearsals on this week’s show, toppling on partner Jodeyne Higgins during practice. The pair have been trying to perfect a hip lift as part of their routine for Sunday’s latest show, where Chico will skate to Sexy And I Know It by LMFAO. Fortunately neither were hurt in the tumble, which is more than can be said for most of this year’s celebs and their partners, who have so far nearly all ended up injured in one way or another. Skating pro Matt Evers was the latest, forced to go to hospital for stitches at the weekend in order to get patched up after Jorgie Porter accidently kicked him in the face with her blade. With the competition heating up, and celebs going all out for points from the judges, it seems the injuries are only going to continue. Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden this week has been practicing the dreaded headbanger, a move which only one other celebrity male skater has ever attempted in the show’s history. |

Dancing On Ice stars Matthew Wolfenden and Chico have revealed they’ve been practicing a “seriously camp” group skate with Andy Whyment this Sunday. The three remainingg male skaters will team up for a one-of routine on the latest live show, with Chico saying it’ll be “hilarious” TV. Matthew tweeted this week: “Ok guys..Get your Camp heads on this afternoon.. It’s time for some seriously camp ice time! “Bet no one can guess what @chicotime1 Andy and Me are skating to in the group number?! Put it this way… It’s a Good old camp classic!!! “aaarhaha can’t reveal guys but it’s as camp as Christmas & it involves dressing up that’s all I can say #PMA hilarious. [sic]” While X Factor star Chico added: “I’m back to 80% hoping to be 100% Sunday. Loving the boys routine. Hilarious. [sic]” But despite the boys teaming up, Matthew admitted he’s still eyeing up the competition. He explained: “At this point in the competition there are six strong skaters left and despite what people say about Andy I think he’s the most improved out of any of us, and he’s fantastic so at this stage it’s anyone’s game.” Village People ?? |

altho cheesier song and routine won last year.
Very difficult for all boys v all girls, as the girls have pro partners who can throw them around (maybe not Chemmy so much) whereas the boys will be more dependent on skating as won't get the same level of drama from the lifts, etc. |

Last year, weakest member of winning team went iirc (Denise).
Interesting to see if they give the boys the win in the hope that might work again. Matt - has his support. Chico - due a bounce. Andy - assumed safe if in winning team. If girls are in losing team, will look in more need of support. |
