At some point, if not already, Matt becomes value surely? Circa 7-2 he could easily top the leaderboard again given a good week (or Jorgie an indifferent one). Chico dosn't strike me as a potential winner, Seb will struggle to get gbp behind him. The momentum is behind Jorgie right now for sure, but can so easily switch.

I can't understand the price drop on chico at all.
He might be sure of getting a top five finish, but jen would beat him easy on public support and mat and jorgie will beat him on sk8ing and popularity. so how the fck can chico win, beats me!!! |

Dancing on Ice coaches Torvill and Dean have reportedly banned “risky” moves following another injury on the ice this week.
After Jennifer Ellison cut her leg open on the ice yesterday, contestants have seen their routines cut back to remove the more ambitious moves. According to the Daily Mirror, Jorgie Porter has been told to drop her headbanger move, while Heidi Range has also cut a side lift from her routine. Matthew Wolfenden meanwhile has been left struggling in practice after injuring his groin earlier in the week. Speaking about Jennifer’s latest injury, which follows her cut head on last Sunday’s live show, a source said: “She had to stop rehearsals immediately and rush off for stitches because the bleeding was quite heavy.” They added to the tabloid: “Her confidence was already fragile and now she is going to be in pain on Sunday’s show.” |

Dancing On Ice contestant Sam Nixon has asked show bosses for reinforced pants to protect his “little Sam” on this weekend’s show!
The telly host has been practicing a dangerous lift which will see his professional partner’s skates come too close to comfort to his crotch. The Sun reports that Sam has asked for extra ‘protection’ ahead of Sunday’s show, after Jennifer Ellison’s misplaced skate saw her injure herself last week. Sam joked that messing up the lift with pro Alexandra Schauman could even stop him from having kids in the future. He said: “It’s terrifying. We don’t want ‘little Sam’ getting injured.” |

big Heidi pic and article in The Sun.
Wondered when she was going to get a Sugababes track - it's this week, Push The Button. |

all sorts of Brave Jen articles, big loss of confidence, didn't start training again until late in the week, cut her leg open now, etc.

No more headbangers

It was reasonably ambiguous but looked like just the skate-off is going to be solo.

Makes sense mach.
Matt is a fairly obvious back to lay, if there was any liquidity |
|
By:
Can't agree with Jen tho. I'm not sure her skating skills are upto much. Only Heidi is worse imo
|
|
By:
I agree, as impressive as all the flexible dance moves are they have just masking lack of basic skating skills so far.
|

She could be a little like Zoe Salmon in that what happened last week really messes up her confidence and she doesn't really get it back,
or it could go the other way and she comes back all guns firing tonight. Without last week's drama, she could well have struggled in the PV. |

I just thought I might have a bet on the eliminations this week, but when I looked it only said 'two to go' or two to go combo' and one had no money on it and the other only £16 - am I looking in the right place?
|
|
By:
Next elimination market with the firms, and a double elimination combo with one.
I guess BF decided against a next elimination market in case there is some ambiguity as to who is the next elimination. I'm not sure if we know how the two will be eliminated, ie, bottom goes and next two skate off, or all skate off, etc. Liquidity for this has been shocking. |

Thanks, squares
![]() I missed out on loads of elims on cbb, so I thought I would give this one a try ![]() |

By:
I thought schofe said that there would be 3 in the skate off and 2 go.
So I reckon the betfair market will be ok, if there was any cash in it and the HS will settle as a dead heat. If that's the case I was wondering if there might be some value with Jen as one of the better skaters. possibly a frenchman, is likely to be in the skate off. |

Chico will be the next big 'shock', his PMA is doing my nut in and I bet I'm not the only one. These overly earnest people annoy me more than those than can't be bothered in all honesty.

hard to see any senario where chico wins this, even down to the last three his price will be the same as now

from DS headlines (I didn't see C&D on TM. Emma Willis has been co-hosting this week btw.)
Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill gave a Dancing on Ice injury update on This Morning earlier today, revealing that the contestants are "bruised and hurting". The duo also insisted that it was still an open race for the Dancing on Ice 2012 crown, despite bookmakers having Jorgie Porter and Matthew Wolfenden as strong favourites. "I think whoever is there in the last three can win it," said Dean. Commenting on the final nine contestants, Dean continued: "They are bruised and hurting - just the way that they should be. "I think the frog lift might be coming back from Sam [Nixon] - he hurt his knee from it so we took it out last week but he has come back and said, 'I want to do this', so it's back in this week, fingers crossed." Dean described Corrie's Andy Whyment as "the most improved" skater, while Torvill said that she had been most surprised by X Factor's Chico. "He just keeps getting better and better and he's doing some big lifts this week," she said. The Olympic skating pair also promised that Jorgie Porter would be tested even further after completing the dangerous headbanger skating move last weekend. "The next level [of her doing the head banger] is for her to do it from the skate and land back on the skates," said Dean. |

photo in The Sun of Matt Evers bleeding after his face was slashed with a skate blade.
Jorgie and he were rehearsing when she caught him on the forehead as they were doing the neck spin where she wraps her legs around his throat. He was rushed to hospital for stitches. They'd been rehearsing without mishap, but Matt had warned Jorgie that her blade was getting too close. |

When a gorgeous blond wraps her legs around your neck there are obvious occupational hazards to this....but some risks are just worth taking.
