god these 2 have 10 times more personality than whittle n the dragon

Lad prices gone weird. Chris 8 or lower 25-1, Ricky 8 or lower 5-1 ??? Chris 10 taken down!
By:
I suppose one way they might try and get him beat is be v. luke warm over his dances tomorrow and even focus on mistakes. In previous series, I don't recall this ever happening though.
By:
glad they have shown all this tonight massive vote boost
By:
Oh correction Chris highest of course, DOH.
By:
you are right maiaze, and that's why they should win. It isn't contrived the way it is with Ricky and Natalie. So much warmer and more endearing imo
By:
Think I'm suffering from Strictly burn out.
By:
specials holiday coming up soon Cider
By:
not long squares we only got 10 days off
By:
10 days too many. I'll be missing it after 2 or 3.
By:
this is a proppa mince n ola fest
By:
Yes a few days off good. I've plenty of study on tho :|
By:
No cute kids or dead Grans in Chris's family
By:
glad they have shown all this tonight massive vote boost
Wish it was but not many watch this. |
By:
Natalie's got a cold, pointy face; Ola face is much kinder - says it all to me.
By:
I don't think there's anything wrong with Natalie except that she's a complete airhead.
By:
it shows minceys up for it though on monday he looked like a defeated man but now him n ola definetley got the bit between there teeth now
By:
Ricky had Nat first night they met 1.01
By:
how long in past series have lines stayed open following the show dances? Anyone recall?
By:
Tomorrow night, according to James Jordan
1st show. Chris & Ola - foxtrot Ricky & Natalie - QS then both couples dance Lindy Hop together. Then lines open. 2nd show at 8.40. Chris & Ola - charleston Ricky & Natalie - Cha Cha Cha followed by the show dances. JJ said they are both phenomenal. Remember: judges' scoring is for guidance only. |
By:
got all that thanks squares but how long in past series have lines stayed open following the show dances?
By:
I wasn't replying to you. Simultaneous typing.
Don't think they are open that long after show dances - just another pro performance or something and a bit of garnish. |
By:
good job it's not a singing contest ;)
By:
that's what I was thinking, so all that stuff from Len and Bruno about the showdance deciding it, is a load of bunkum
By:
yep, about 10mins or so.
Definitely a disadvantage for chris that he doesn't do his charleston til the 2nd show |

Definitely a disadvantage for chris that he doesn't do his charleston til the 2nd show
Don't see it that way myself 5LL, I reckon most people will put off voting until the second show - why vote when you have only seen half the dancing? But you will pick up the phone and vote having seen that wonderfully entertaing Charleston :) |
By:
However that order will probably let me hoover up some silly 3.0+ prices oon Chris :)
By:
Maybe over 4 :)
I still think over an hour to vote after Ricky's best dance is to his advantage. |
By:
great show for chris tonight. surely this won't even be close. the british always like an underdog.
By:
Yep, I agree with that Louis.
Len's line of - "The judges favourite v the publics favourite' makes you think Len is on @ 40/1 ;) |
By:
Evening, what was the liquidity like on this show in last year's final? Bit concerned about being potentially stuck in a position either way... do bookies bet in-running on it too?
By:
lol yes indeed five leaves.
I like ricky as well, and natalie, but because of their abilities and physical superiority it is hard to engage with them so much as chris. |
By:
Was ok last year I think dao, and a few on the HS bet in-running.
I'm worn out and am just going to let my bets run, unless Chris goes to a silly price, which I think he could in that hour break. |
By:
That schedule is rather surprising. One would think that it would be just the showdances with no scoring reserved for the results show. Lines must close at least 20 minutes before the scheduled end of the results show which doesn't allow a lot of time.
By:
Plus the showdance is a lot longer? and would require the most energy. The finalists only dancing three times between them in 65 minutes of the first show is rather damp.
By:
It's very odd cider, assuming James got it right.
Latin and Ballroom in 1st show, then the group lindy hop and showdance in the 2nd show would make more sense. |
By:
Yep, and I agree it hurts Chris if he can't do his 'signature' dance until late on, and presumably it won't be a million miles away from the style of his showdance.
By:
makes you wonder if scheduling change has been done to try and take the wind out the sails of Chris's voters. But don't see why people won't pick up phone to vote for him during 2nd show.
By:
Has anyone found any conformation of this?
It just doesn't make sense. 1 dance each and a group dance in 1 hour and 5 mins. |
