Start this morning at 1000.

Would have loved Totten v Mann to have been a TV table, but alas it's not.  Zizins v Dylboy the very obvious pick of those that are.

Not around for the first part of this evening, so likely won't do much, if anything, in this first session.

First sighting of Kaylan Patel.  He's not terrible.

Patel 6-3 up, MSI.  Gong matched for decent money at 1.02.

Shehab played quite well at the Qs last season (beat Stan Moody 10-6 before losing narrowly 10-8 to Tian).  He's not a complete mug.

True. 5-0 doesn't ring true to me though. Lines is a great little player.

Lines is playing in the first Q round.  That tells you all you need to know.

Apols for aftertime, but had to lay Jimmy when he was around 1.33 earlier in his match - 62 years old, and his opponent is a youngster who might end up half decent in time.

Jimmy misses shots he would have potted without blinking in his past. Was surprised he was so short here, as he's never going to be a hugely difficult opponent these days v younger players.

(again, sorry for the aftertiming, but thought it was an interesting game/market)

He was so short because Kazakov is awful.  26.67% frame success rate this season prior to today.  One 50 every 44.5 frames played.

He's not great yes, though he has won matches at lower level this year - Jimmy is basically not too far off that lower level himself these days is he?

Couldn't really expect him to be at 62 years old - fair play he still competes at all.

Jimmy has won 46% of frames played this season prior to today, scoring a 50 every 5.79 frames played.

His scoring has been better then fair play - just see him as someone who could lose to anyone on their day still, and the other kid is only 20 to be fair - even if not achieving too much so far.

Oh, he's nothing like the player he was even last season, and that won't ever improve now.  I just don't see much potential in Kazakov, TBH.  Whether Jimmy has got it in him for two sessions in a day, let alone when he needs to come back from 3 behind, is another matter.

Now you've almost convinced me into going back and not making that bet, lol - I maybe did slightly overestimate Kaz, as I was focused on seeing Jimmy's match weaknesses instead. He might score ok at times, but in match wins and losses he's not a strong player these days. If he'd been more like 1.7 I prob would not have laid though.

Jimmy can't believe he's getting bashed on the scoreboard by someone of this level....

Kazakov is soooooooooo bad.

Not a TV table, so I've not paid much attention, but anybody got any ideas why books didn't price up Bubbles v Szubarczyk?  Bubbles just limped over the line 10-8.

Was meant to say the bookmakers have in recent seasons chosen not to bet on games were one of the players is under 16? Though they don't worry in Chinese tournaments with some of their wildcards.

Interesting. Can't say as I've noticed that before.

Just read that Jimmy lost a frame this morning on the three misses rule.
