Yeah, seem to remember he was one of Robbo's practice partners, and he's 4th in the Q-Tour rankings for this season (Zhao, DylBoy and Highfield above him, and none of them are doing too badly!).

some juicy matches tomorrow.would love to see marco get to the crucible but its a long road. Lam, marco, emery, sunny make a nice little acca. Could never back mark davis at that price.

I have Davies as fav against Lam, but Lam's form of late is much improved (the victory over Baz was a total donation, however, and Wu was struggling with his cue action at the time of his defeat). Davies is ahead on every metric.
Think the Marco price is probably a few ticks too short, but both of them are losing money on the season, and Mertens is a player I cannot get right. Dark has been very good at beating the players he should beat and losing to the players he shouldn't. Robbie Mc, meanwhile, looks a shadow of the player who was snookers required (and 3-1? BO7) ahead of LTT and lost.... Not a bet I'd take, but it probably collects. Can see a couple of others that are possibly a little bit of value but not exactly players you could trust. |
