Liang goes 4-2 up.  Missed what happened, but last I saw, he could only tie, and it definitely wasn't a respot....

Mugthew gets over the line with an excellent 74 (particularly given what had gone before it), 5-3.

Jack needed snookers v Darling, having missed the black off the final red, but in missing it he fluked a snooker, which Darling missed.  Jack can now steal.

Does steal, 4-4.

Perry, needing blue and pink to steal, misses an elementary blue to the middle.  Liang clears, 5-2.

Good shouts on Mugthew and liang lats. Mugthew fighting for tour survival so i don't know did that motivation help. Didn't see a lot of it. Did mjw look up for it? I wonder if some of these players see this as a bit of a holiday and any matches won as a bonus, the ones who aren't fighting for rankings that is. Did you see that milkins story? In hospital getting his stomach pumped, then playing probably his best match of the  season two days later. Maybe unwittingly rob has found the key to unlocking his undoubted potential!

Don't really like the games today. Jamie J is a guy i thought would do better this season but hasn't got going. Ali has been quiet too but is off the back of a decent week so entitled to be good favourite. The later games look more interesting, will have a good look at them.

Thanks, mate.  MJW won frame 1 with a one-visit job, but TBH, if (as it looked likely for a while) it had have finished 5-1 or 5-2, I would have fully expected Pandora to have been adding MJW to his "JB associates list" Laugh  Some of it didn't look great, in all honesty.

No, not seen the Milkins story at all!  SurprisedLaughLaughLaugh  Maybe you are right about the holiday aspect, particularly after so long locked up...  That said, there is good money to be won out here, and TBH, pretty much anybody outside the top 32 on the 1-year list should be up for some of that.

Yeah, out on the p!ss, got into a fight with some locals i think, stumbled into jacks and splits his chin open against the bog. Wakes up in hospital and can't remember a thing. Think that must've been saturday nightLaugh

Fair point about the money alright, they should be up for it, i just wonder with a few of them. Unlike the china events, they're in a holiday resort with the potential for some off the baize froliciking which i imagine is difficult to resist. I remember the thailand masters used to be like that, pretty much just a week long p!ss up for the players who travelled.

Jack wins an absolute mug-fest of a W on the final black.  Not sure what the 1.06 Darling backer thought he was capable of when he potted the pink and left the cueball on the baulk cush with the black in a not-pottable position.  Mind you, they should have collected when Darling missed the black sitting virtually over the bag.

Wakelin on the board.  Taken these well.  Judd looks ripe for the taking, if Wakelin can keep his $hit together throughout.

Definitely looks ropey here lats. If wakey gets into winning position, i hope he can get the job done. Interesting that judd isn't currently in the tour champs qualifying list, he'd really need to be winning this to keep his chance alive.
