Terrible comments from murphy and I'm one of those who genuinely likes the guy. I don't think he has any understanding of the pressures those guys are facing at the other end of the rankings. And this from a guy who was once the players rep!

I missed it, but someone's got a nice position in the Licky - Steadman match.  That 1.17 wad was matched at some point in this frame!  Crazy

I can't take the credit, mate.  Think it was Gin who came up with it!  It's foooooking brilliant and is exactly who he's turning into!  Laugh

It's very, very good. He's got the lot - the body-shape, the posture, the hairdo, the facial features and even the walk. Needs to take a leaf out of JB's book now imo - how can I put it? - Spin on that Shon!

I don't even know what WTF a "spin class" is to be honest - but it's miraculous in the timescale imo.

Gonna buy a set for the wife's sister at Christmas - what you call a statement gift. Grin

does gin get out of bed for bo11s? Grin

Sorry lads! I tend to stick to the TV games but even then avoid one-sided matches (like Higgins last night) unless the outsider wins the first one or two frames to make it a bit more interesting!

Talking of one-sided games, I presume we are going to get evans v Hawkins as the TV match this afternoon?

Was hoping for that one Gin - but I think it's Selby v "The Glove" at 14:30 followed by ROS game at 19:30.

Bloody forum stopped updating again.

Was gutted Steadman couldn't have forced the respot as I'd laid a nice amount at 1.01/1.02....  Story of my punting life at the minute!  Cry

The Glove has played alright a few times this season.  Still doesn't score very well, but his all round game seems to have improved.  Doubtful he's got enough to beat Selby over BO11, but can see him nicking a few frames.

True enough, but TG should have been over the line a few times before it got to that stage.

True story - When muir last played Judd - My wife (knows does know a little after sitting through hours of it being on in the background) asked me if Muir had a prosthetic arm - in all fairness to her, it's not just The Glove - he does hold his arm funny sometimes when it's down by his side.

I told her he was being allowed to play in the English Open because he won the gold at the paralympics - she said "ah that's nice" and went back to her book.

Robbo has come out in vague support of The Governess (still love that) - it's a tough life having to play somebody ranked outside the top 128 for about £6k in prize money. Cry Laugh

Levels 2-2, and could have been 4-0.

Yeah. Lack of liquidity a joke. Only thing propping it up yesterday was the punter with raw pictures flying his prices in 5 seconds before we saw what had happened!
By:

I do think slow pictures is something the whole industry has to address at some point, otherwise there's not going to be much of an industry left.  The number of sports I've stopped punting....  There's absolutely no excuse for things being as far behind as they are, as racing is showing (though they still moan about being eons behind)....

LaughLaughLaugh  I've probably not tried to punt tennis for 7 or 8 years now for that very reason....  It's a shame.  Lots of stuff I used to really enjoy.
