Someone needs to retire Taylor and Virgo. They have no conception of when to shut up and half of what they're saying is wrong. Virgo kept repeating the wrong scoreline during Ronnie/Judd before then mistaking the yellow ball for a red. Thorne can go with them. Never has a man who achieved so little in the game pontificated on the bad shots of people much more successful more than him.
As far as I could tell there have been more former players involved in the commentating of this than there have been players in the tournament. |

Taylor is the worst by far IMHO. He's been a liability for a couple of years now.
"Walden should really put the green safe here...". Really ? Walden is 10 points behind with two reds remaining. He needs the green in open play to be able to win. "We're all getting very excited about the possibility of a maximum now..." Erm, there were only 13 reds on the table at the start of this break. Blacks with all of them would be very nice, but there's no maximum on I'm afraid. "That was very brave of the referee, using his discretion to not award a miss there." Nope, we're just at the "snooker's required" stage Dennis. Please, please try to pay attention. |
