I backed White at 4/7 but found myself willing Poom to win that final frame. Which says everything about the guy.
Anyone who can lose a frame on the 3 shot miss rule and still have a big, beaming smile will do for me. A really refreshing addition to the game. Gutted I can't watch his session tomorrow. Apart from Ronnie/Jimmy/Alex in their prime, I can't remember the last time I felt like that. The post count on this thread outnumbers most of the others on the snooks forum. |

I hope he plays better in the second session and doesnt do too much dancing and clapping. Otherwise he may end up earning the nickname "The Clown"

just stuck a cpl of quid on poom ,you never know...if he gets a good start and has the crowd behind him we could witness a great comeback,unlikely but worth an interest.
