Hand on heart, if you'd have told me Joe was going to win a frame, let alone the match, after the first two and a half frames, I'd have said you were off your head!

By:
well played joe swail....superb
By:
Indeed.
Wasn't Mark Davis a bit rubbish at the World Open and Mark Allen the total opposite? |
By:
yeah but im backing Davis tonight a lot of players have huge let downs just after they win a tourny
By:
Allen's started like Swail!
By:
And the scheduling is going to be a nightmare. What time do we reckon Selby gets on based on this start?
By:
cant see selbys match finishing til past midnight
By:
Decent break from Allen after a stuttering start. 1-0.
By:
Is it just me or does this crowd seldom clap at the right time?!
By:
Would have liked Davis to have nicked that one. Alas, he didn't. 2-0.
By:
lets have davis do a swail, cmon davis
By:
He looks as badly out of touch as Swail did in those early frames!
By:
Stolen 3-0.
By:
Terrible performance from Davis. 4-0.
By:
Really good start from Selby. Everything going in the heart of the pocket. 1-0.
By:
How many times are this crowd going to clap a safety where the player leaves a pot on?!? That one was right over the bag!
By:
Very impressive break from Lisowski after Selby went in off. 1-1.
By:
One good break from Lisowski, a couple of hacks, and a miss or two from Selby. Lisowski leads 2-1.
By:
Wildly over-exuberant shot selection costs Lisowski. 2-2.
By:
Was that an attempted pot?!?
By:
not sure about the sponsors of this ptc finals event
![]() dufferbet ? who are they |
By:
lisowski will be in the winners enclosure regularly once he gets more experience, one of the new breed
By:
Blimy this kids good, reminds me of a young Davis.
By:
Really good opening red and nice ensuing break. 3-2 Lisowski. Some alarming misses on Selby's long pots.
By:
practises with Judd and Ronnie essex way , I think trump and Lisowski share a place together
By:
3-3, final frame decider
By:
Get down and pot it, son.
By:
Well done, Lad. Very composed, all things considered.
By:
Very well played, Young Man. Got every decision in that final frame bang on.
4-3 Lisowski. |

Funny if Selby wins the big treble of all the tournaments in one season... just not a good time at all for the elite of the sport if Selby achieved that this season anyways.
Fair play to Lisowski, put Selby under some pressure after his good play in frame 2 and 3. I'll be at it tomorrow night, I'll be there seething being surrounded by idiots clapping at bad shots or shots that end up as a bad result. Or total silence at some lovely shots. Was at this event last year and it is a clueless crowd compared to others definitely. I've backed Maflin to win his quarter and Allen outright for this tournament, should add a few more bets but it's been a bad day at Cheltenham and lost a bit on the Gould match |

I hope everyone read my comment at 9-51 this morning on this thread re Jack Lisowsky as I dont want anyone to think I am after timing.
It seemed absurd to me that he was 3.60 and Selby was 1.34 when they had met 3 times and Jack was 2-1 up and the defeat was in a decider. Selby won the first frame but Jack took the second and perhaps he should have won 4-1 because such was the pressure and respect Selby obviously had for this kid he never potted a long ball and although breaking the pack he left nothing. Jack had a bit of luck in the decider but it was overdue and if he had lost it would not have been deserved. I for one am glad the kids are gathering, With Trump and Allen the obvious 2 but there is something really special about Lisowsky that suggests to me he will be the major winner of the three over his career. For those of you that must have laughed at me for taking the 100-1 him taking this title and you saw him tonight perhaps you will understand now. The games in great hands with players like that emerging and improving as they go along. |

Dragon,
If your there today you might get lunch at tea time Cao Yupeng is much like Peter Ebdon and just as dangerous but certainly no hurricane. |

This is painful viewing and Lawler is visibly crapping his pants. Keep your powders dry. 1-1.
