That thing by William Shatner.
Was it, ' Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' ? Most odd indeed, but very amusing. |
|

I am probably mistaken on the record title, by the way.
Haven't had much sleep. Very hazy at the moment. |

THOMAS-on the 30th june you said
all out of love (air supply ) feel sick just thinking about it can i ask was that because of the record or the girl . |
|
By:
PUMPHOL - a mixture of the two. Those lyrics which sound so corny now felt like they had been written for me at that time. Just hearing the song and the lyrics and remembering how I was feeling as if it was only yesterday - very strange.

Morning pumphol - the phone has been remarkably quiet after all this morning. Was expecting the nod for a Pip Payne runner - assumed it to be Collect in the last at Newmarket rather than long-standing non-winner Darla at Ripon.
Can't see a result for the books in the first three at Nkt although Paper Talk and Banba are value prices. Wouldn't be surprised to see a good run from Mr Malarkey in the 3.35. Hopeful of a result in the 4.10 - fancy Typhoon Tilly and to a lesser extent red Scorpion. Worried that there is no oppo to the fav in the penultimate and can't really see a result in the last - Collect wouldn't have to be much. Have a good afternoon. |
|
By:
madhouse here today thomas ,first chance to look at the thread, thanks a lot for the info ,hopefully i'll get a chance to to have a look as the afrternoon progresses ,thanks again & be lucky

busiest day of the year in the shop, catch you later |
|
By:
Evening pumphol, glad you are so busy although must be a pain in this heat and not being able to keep up with racing, golf, etc. Had word (not sure how good) for Dubai Typhoon in the 2nd at Lingers. Had some good results today - Paper Talk was 20s on here down to about 8 on course. Still gutted about Mr Malarkey 25+ on here down to about 14 on course.
|
|
By:
evening thomas hope you won on paper talk, mr malarky would have made a good day ,backed the one in the last & malarky took 16 on here missed the earlier price ,just laid the last fav at haydock :D
had a word for bird over in the 7.40 |
|
By:
Been out for an hour - yep Paper Talk a good result. Obviously getting that hotpot beat at Haydock was a good one - did you lay it too then? Nice one. Didn't see the race but see BO was 2nd.
|
|
By:
yes the winner & bird over were the last two horses two out ,bird over made his move first & took it up a furlong out but the winner came with a well timed run & won fairly easily in the end
yes youv'e got me into laying short ones ,not all of them but fingers x ,doing ok at the mo |
|

Hello Pumpy.
I noticed you were about earlier, if you're still there, any idea of today's quiz time ? I can't remember from one day to the next, what subjects various ones are about, or when they are supposed to be happening ! |
|
By:
HI TOMMY hope its this evening as i'm out till 6
anyway as campo hasent put up a time it cant be any earlier than 6 catch you later |
|
By:
And people wonder why I don't get much sleep !
I didn't get to sleep last night/ this morning until 6am, as I had to feed the birds. Then I was still laughing at comments Bodil had made in the early hours, when trying to nod off in bed, so that delayed me too. I got up at 9am as I thought the quiz was at noon. Ah well.....such is life.... Enjoy your day, hope to see you soon. |
