It's no good moaning about seeding , we are not playing tennis where they try and get the best two to play in the final, that would just be boring .If you want to win it you have to be the best and eventually beat the best, otherwise every FA Cup final would always have the top two teams in it and where would the fun be.Whoever loses between France and South Africa will probably feel agrevied but that's the way the cookie crumbles.A lot of people including me thought that Australia were bound to get through their group but they didn't and that what makes it what it is , a great tournament. I also think Scotland were hard done by , but let's all rejoice when England get to the final ...

Tremendous match last night. That is what it takes to be World Champions. England left carrying the standard. I think we beat Fiji and get the Eurostar the following Sunday.
I still don’t get this trying to play Gettard and Lampard in the same side. Now they wants to put Smifff into the mix. Steward is pure class and is being dropped to accomodate Smiff. Farrell who is the Lampard in this situation starts and Gerrard ( Ford ) is on the bench. I just don’t understand why they can’t play the best player in each position. It is not if Steward is weak. He is close to World Class and certainly solid. I get that he puts his trust in Farrell, which, imho is bad for the team but if that is the case there is no need for Ford. Smiff should be on the bench for the Hail Mary. So sorry that there is so little love for our team although I hope that changes for next week and the boys find the obdurate cussedness to defy the fact that they have Bob Hope and No Hope and as for Slim he was on the Eurostar after the second game. |

I have layed France. I know Dupont is meant to be 100 % fit but i do worry he has been brought back too soon just because its the World Cup in France. Not sure he gets the full 80 mins and the opposition are sure to target him.
I expect England to win today but do not want to take the short odds on offer. Just going to have a few beers and cheer England on. GL with your bets today lads.  |
