NZ duffed up second half FT --France 29 - 13 New Zealand

Think the last conversion missed, so 27-13.

By:
wow can't of been many predicting this much of a gap

One flag went up - one stayed down - ITV scoreboard/stadium announcer said 29 -13 - beeb scoeboard has 27 - 13 but in running comm has 29 - 13 --google has it 27 - 13. ITV presenter says 29 - 13. Wiki has 29 -13. FFS

I thought it had missed right post.
Far touch judge gave it but it wasn't his post. Near didn't give it,... Doubtless some punters will await official score betting on handicaps in running.. |
By:
I needed over 40.5 in a bet builder, paid out, still not counting my chickens. I think the confusion is it appears to have gone over the posts when you slow it down which can cause an optical illusion. Sure an announcement will be forthcoming.
By:
I had different rolling bets 2 x bet builders and a straight single on total points, paid out by 2, b365 settled over 40.5 as loser???

By:
Official confirmed as 27-13
By:
27-13 confirmed had a feeling that would happen. A few times over the years when there has been something similar in a different sport I have come off wrong, however just guessed this would happen. Feels like VAR deja vu.

On a goodjun with the French we think?
They look the bees and ees ![]() |

I was on them in 2011 and they came so damn close

Wow , the French played so well, but I was disappointed by the All Black's.They looked one dimensional, kicking the ball up in the air so many times , don't remember them playing like that before. I expect a complete change in their tactics going forward. Such a shame the draw is so lopsided that at least two of the best teams in the world won't make the semi finals! Still think Australia could go a long way in the tournament, suppose that will keep San Quentin happy!!!!

Think we should get set for an All Black juggernaut now.Don't poke the Bear.
Interesting day ahead. |

Suzie the waitress spotted in gay Paris?
A little bit sick this morning. Coulda, shoulda, woulda Went out early last night for dinner and was hoping to watch the game when home I was going to have a decent size bet on Les Bleus and git negged out a little prior so thought I might bet in play but did not make the game. My gut also says Boks are fierce with pace outside too and again many are advocating caution. England look hopeless but so do their side of the draw. Think I am just going to enjoy the spectacle now rather than dip into my pocket. |

Not nearly as clear cut as in recent times. NZ and Aus not as good as they were, SA probably the best southern hemisphere team against France and Ireland. Squad depth will be vital as there are bound to be some injuries in every team before the business end.

Namibia deserved the try but his knee was well over the line when he touched the ball down.

Don't know if it has already been mentioned but an early feature of this WC is that the scrums are taking far to long.
By:
I know that I do say I bet the draw a lot but 25.0 England v Argentina is well worthy of a bullseye of anyone's money.

By:
Searching but can't find a price for Zero draws the whole tournament.
By:
Zero draws should be about 7/2 pre tourney. (quick calculation)
By:
Slippy draw price halved last night
when France were 3 up, didn't follow it closely. It's an odd one when the points system doesn't favour a draw. Eng Arg could be a tight game with 1 or 2 point margin that doesn't lend to draw happening. There used to be a mad layer on here offering great prices on rugby draws. |

Aussies backed into 1.04 last few mins from 1.07.

Oh it's started, lol, betfair have it starting soon!

re Scrums. Given that the scrum half now feeds the ball into the second row the amount of time taken setting up a scrum is a joke. Been going on about this for ages. In my day the scrums were contested and yet there was none of this faffing about. It's an easy way of running the clock down.
By:
Why lol?
By:
TCat, please don't start me on that. I was a specialist hooker, striking against the head was my party piece. I was very fortunate to be coached in that position at school by none other than Mr. Phil Keith-Roach who went on to be the forwards coach for England when they won the World cup.
It was part of the reason I stopped playing. All the front row was three big lumps without the need to have a hooker and I wasn't really big enough to fill that role and not did I want to anyway. |
By:
On tonight's game as my main bet I fancy England to win and a winning margin of 1-12 points @ 3.0 looks decent.
By:
I can't pick, england have been so disjointed
I'm just hoping they gel and have a base from which to kick on. Plenty of decent players. |
By:
On Argentina
Just dont see anything positive about us at all, at least under Johnson (2011?) we had a bit of toughness |
By:
Id also put the bloke who was there before Jones above this current plank
By:
Good luck slippy
If we win at least thats something |
By:
Yes S.S. it would be great to see a solid England performance, it's going to be a tight game whatever happens but I'm looking forward to it I must say.
By:
And rugby seems to avoid the politics side of it, so can bet and just enjoy the games without the diversity rubbish
