Argentina to win Group D given England's awful form in the last 12 months ?
|
By:
Pretty much agree with both of you regarding the World Cup but i am a bit out of touch due to the TV coverage. I've seen the results and if i was forced to have a bet at this stage i would back the Boks @ 6.6.

Owen Farrell to miss opening two games of World Cup after red card reinstated
The England captain has received a six-match ban, reduced to four on mitigation and will miss the pool games against Argentina and Japan |
By:
So now we know that Billy Vunipola will miss at least one game ,against Argentina and maybe another against Japan and we will still take him as the only specialist no 8.
I know there are others that can fill the gap but it seems ridiculous to me, what if he is naughty again or gets injured!! |

The Royal "we" hunt? Not only English on here m8.
|
By:
TCat alot worse plays than that m8.Argentina semi finalists last time in France.
|
By:
Sorry to have upset you San Quentin
|

The England rugby team have another injury as Anthony Watson is ruled out of World Cup. Will be interesting to see how they fare against Fiji this weekend.
Be good to 'hear' other formites views on their own countries chances... |
By:
yo why the **** are england still favs vs argentina, no way arg aren't going favs before kick-off
couldn't believe the odds a couple weeks ago. |
By:
Have to agree Razz, I think this is the worst England team I can remember. Not sure Borthwick knows what his "best " team is .Think we should of stuck with Eddie till after World Cup
|
By:
argentina must be so confident here, especially after beating england for the first time last year too and that was a much stronger england team probably
|
By:
fiji odds won't last either i think vs wales
|
By:
not so confident about this one hah but i stabbed fiji to win group c at 12/1, tough ask vs australia but those odds will plummit if they beat wales
|
By:
S.A to implode.

Very interesting listening to Eddie Jones this morning, blaming England's demise on the RFU.
Also he reckons Ireland, New Zealand have players that are maybe just over their prime and not enough good new talent coming through. He is obviously trying to get the best out of the Ozzie squad who do look limited but they do have one of the easiest draws in my opinion. I still reckon New Zealand will win the cup but they will have to play a lot better than they did at Twickenham!! |

France v New Zealand Friday
England v Argentina Saturday Scotland v South Africa Sunday. Wow, what a start, as well as numerous other games |
By:
Yes great start unlike the football World Cup I’ve no doubt South Africa will win the tournament.
|
By:
Not long to go now.Bring it on.SA to exit at group stage.Worst possible game to kick of the tournament for the boys.Anyone going to any of the games?
|
By:
Think Wales will suprise a lot of people and reach the semis at least. Gatland is no fool and will progress further than most anticipate imo. Oggie oggie oggie

By:
Cracking game to kick off the tournament tonight......I predict an All Black win tonight....should be a cracker
|
By:
NZ to beat France in the final.

By:
Good evening rugby fans, really looking forward to this tournament as I'm sure we all are.
Tough game first up to confidently predict so I've done the draw @ 27.0. I should get a run for my money hopefully! |
By:

|
By:
Famous last words but why are Aussies 1.07
to win opening game. Looks like free money... If Guinness need me to do an advert if I jinx it I'm not bitter.... |
By:
Fancy France tonite, good luck all.
|
By:
How can it possibly be right to allow one team to put on a warlike display while none of the other teams can? This is a World Cup in France, not a "friendly" in Auckland! I don't like France in any situation so I will have to be cheering NZ.
|
By:
Some start
|
By:
Great start by NZ
|
By:
Other teams have a haka, not just NZ
