Funny old half, that.  How on earth the Rebels are only up by 5 is beyond me.  Will the travel catch up with them?  Have they done enough?  Reds really not brought much to the party so far....  Keeping their powders dry?

Some very poor players in this Reds team.  What a shambles of a performance.  Their coach must be going crazy watching that brock

Brits didn't start that!  Van der Merwe head-butted him!

The best game of the day was the last one played between Jaguares v Chiefs.  Chiefs score late on to get the tight victory.

FT

Jaguares 27 - 30 Chiefs

The Highlanders must be the dumbest team in Super Rugby.  How many pens did they turn down in the last 15 mins?  FT 28-31....

HT 0-0!  LaughLaughLaugh  Been a while since that's happened!

The Stormers have been brutal away from home.  11 consecutive defeats away from Newlands.  If the Reds hadn't have been so poor last week against the Rebels I would have blasted them today.  Didn't have a bet due to that poor performance

And if Kolisi hadn't have been binned, there was naff all between them.

2 tries scored when he was in the bin

What a half from the Sharks!  Bosch has given them so much go forward.  Outstanding!

79th minute try prevents the Lions from being nilled.  FT 5-40 and not flattered in the slightest.

Billy Meakes has been very fortunate to get away with that, IMHO.

Leading 20-10 with about 10 mins to go, the Bulls managed to get two men sent to the bin and lost 20-22 to the Jaguares.

1.03 bust for pennies and a few grand at 1.05.

Semisi Tupou has almost single-handedly cost the Rebels any chance of winning this.

Bombed a cert try from a Cooper kick; lost control of the ball when piling forward; kick straight into touch (from which the Stormers scored)

Semisi Tupou sums up the problem within Australian rugby - it's full of dumb players making dumb plays.

Sorry, Mate, missed that.  Hope you're well?

Lions really do look a million miles from the side they looked with Faf de Klerk pulling the strings....

Indeed, Reveen, though I'm not convinced there's much between them and the South Africans playing Super Rugby, at least....

The Sharks are getting humped in the same way that they humped the Lions last week.

Again, not really a flattering scoreline either....

Truly amazing fluctuations in performance level this season....

Your right about that "Lats".I cant recall such a turnaround in results at the start of a season. I used to think that a team played different if they were on
television, some showboating etc in front of the cameras but even that does not hold true this year. Looking at the South African club scene it does look as though they are way behind New Zealand and even behind some of the Aussie sides which I am suprised at.Also the way the Sharks were dismantled by the Argies this
Weekend and the Bulls last week they seem to be behind them as well. Its a shame the Baptist does not post on here anymore as it would be good to hear his views.

Don't forget it's a World Cup year and teams are resting players at the behest of the national unions.

Fair point, Reveen.

Really no idea of what to make of this morning's opener, with both teams missing numerous regular starters (though most of the Lions' ones are at least on the bench).
