Italy should be odds on, Ireland bench is almost empty after half an hour.

If this was any other team than Italy they would be massive odds-on. If only betfair had provided us with a handicap market of any use.

Bizarre first half, Italy should really have scored a try when BOD was off and midfield were all over the place. Cant for the life of me  understand why they kicked the ball away when they have the extra man.

poor from BOD , frustrated, silly and petulant but hardly nasty.

Terrible lineout and no faith in Jackson, seems that the back row are in the first reciever position more often than jackson. The Irish forwards just dont offload, parisse has offloaded more in 3 games than the whole Irish pack has in 4 games.

Terrible and if they get out of jail here it will be amazing.

BOD stamped on a defenceless player, who was on the ground, without provocation.

It was some time ago though.

If only Castro was on the bench, you'd really fancy the Iraly scrum to see them home.

Injuries for Ireland at the moment:
Fitzpatrick, POC, DOC, Tuohy, Ferris, Reddan, Sexton, D'Arcy, Marhsall, Earls, Bowe.

Probably a couple more I can't think of...

There was a bit of a debate about O'Driscoll stamping on Ongaro way back in 2006 CC, but that's about all I can find. Don't think he was banned for it.

I didn't mean to be arrogant about it cc. I thought you were having a cheap dig. I'll have a think about it and see if I can remember anything. For the life of me, I don't think he is a dirty player though

If he was genuinely dirty, over 13 years he would have picked up some bans for sure.

If Italy stop passing the ball to Orquera they may win this. Takes awful options time after time.

Italy should be doing everything in their power to attack down the right wing with POM defending there

How have they not scored there?

Erm, who the hell knows?

I imagine it got there, but it's how that is the problem. Barnes's question may decide it.

Well done Italy, thought they had botched that.

That's all down to Rob Kearney inviting that pressure. Useless coont.

Ireland have to let these young backs play how they lie by running the ball, gotta let them play their natural game.

Ireland have a chance with Madigan in there, he will create chances if the forwards give him ball.

O'Brien's forearm went straight into the tacklers face there and it's not the first time that's happened. One day he will either do some nasty damage or get himself sent off.

How did Ireland not get a pen from that scrum?
By:

Italy hitting the self destruct button here.
By:

When: 16 Mar 13 16:51
If the Italians stay bound and stay down then there is no pen to give
By:
RugbyMan
When: 16 Mar 13 16:51
The problem with that pen is that Lo Cicero isn't actually holding the ball. Defenders just get an automatic pen if they get there first and cant pick it up. It's O'Driscoll's own fault that he has put his arm through the players legs.

15 against 13 there and jackson kicks it out, no tactical awareness from the Irish there at all
