It's a choice for the individual isn't it. Do you want to be Spanish or British. If you're British and can't find work in Spain, go back to Britain or become Spanish.

To repeat, I can't work out the logic of living in a country that you don't feel is your home, if you're not earning a good age working. I would have thought people living in a different country are doing so as they can't get that work in their home country, or the new country is now their home.
