I was born in 62 and recall most of them. Started enjoying the Beatles and moved onto Pink Floyd. Preferred rock which is why I know many of the songs of 70's up to the mid 80's but it's the artists that trip me up, especially the soul and Motown stuff. Like them considerably more now though.

31 is one of the great singer songwriters, passed away 3 years ago tomorrow.
Second line is " in a room where you do what you don't confess".  The two lines together make one of the greatest opening couplets ever imo Happy

And the song title for 31 is something that will be happening in just under 3 hours time depending on where you live in the country !

Going back to what you said earlier DD. I took the car out for a spin today and Can't get by without you came on the radio. When it ended they said it was 'The Real Thing' which made me realise that weren't one hit wonders too.

When 37 is finally revealed, I heard on the radio today that they've released a new album, with all (or most) songs written 50 years ago, no less. May interest a few on here.

As i mentioned earlier Aspro, i am an avid Radio Caroline listener and believe i know the band you are referring to as they have been playing some tracks from that album for a few weeks now. Unless there is more than one band that fit the description of course !  Cannot think of the song in the question at the moment though....

Yes and he  lives in a castle not far from me Laugh

The album is also named after one of my favourite bets, three doubles and a treble.
By:
Aspro
When: 30 Apr 26 19:34
I didn't catch the album name or know he lives in a castle, but they did play one of the tracks. Not quite as catchy but I'd have to hear the full album to pass judgement

It's called Trixies and Caroline have been playing the title track often (both parts one and two).

JH owns the house at Cooling Castle, near Rochester.  Whispering Death encountered him one day whilst out cycling i believe.
