Trump has stated 55 times that he defeated Iran.

Trump has stated 35 times that Iran is destroyed.

Trump has stated 38 times that a deal is imminent.

Trump has stated 25 times that the Strait of Hormuz is open.

Elect a clown, expect a circus.

luxury motorhome and other assets purchased with embezzled SNP funds by former party chief executive Peter Murrell are expected to be sold at police auctions under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA). Seized and unclaimed goods in Scotland are typically processed through approved government auctions.

Reckon a good few on heere will be locked in fierce bidding for Murrel Knicker collection.

This is the nemesis of President Trump and his henchmen. Gone into the war emotively and blindly now trying very hard to wriggle out of it without looking like a pillock and a numpty by mad Putin President Xi of China.

I think this would be his legacy in his 2nd term. Taco man and his henchmen eating humble pies aplenty.

Iran saying the US now bombing reservoirs. If true that's a war crime.

I think the cease fire is over too.

To no one's surprise the deal is off!

The problem for Trump is he's running for ways to present any agreement as a win. The yanks are gonna have to either give billions in re-building money or un-freeze Iranian billions, something Obama did way back when, but they're also demanding control of the Strait and to charge a toll. If they get both those things they end up in a far stronger position than they were going in and can therefore rightly claim they've won. Trump just can't face that but the Iranians are refusing to buckle on it. They've replaced the previous leader with a bunch of military bods who see fighting to the death as honourable and conceding as worse than treachery.

Iran's red lines; get control of the Straits of Hormuz and keeping their nukes

Trump's red lines; no control of the Straits of Hormuz and no nukes.

The Iranians are just going to out-wait the Donald. Midterms are coming.

It's not even the mid-terms. Oil reserves are starting to hit the floor now. Some Asian and African countries are sending workers home and are at fairly drastic measures to temper consumption. And the oil isn't just oil etc. It gets used in all kinds of stuff, so the global economy could really be in trouble in so many different ways. The Iranians know this and every single day that passes makes their hand stronger and stronger. Give it another month and they'll be demanding America nukes Israel as part of the deal.

Great news, there seems to be a deal!
US giving Iran billions in frozen assets and waive sanctions on its oil exports, meanwhile the Straits goes back to the way it was.

Only one reason why this hasn't reverted to the same deal with now plus 'compo' prior to Feb.

The world stood back in fear from the US 'lobby' and what threats could mean against them.

Donald Trump said the strait of Hormuz will reopen on Friday after the initial memorandum of understanding is signed (in Switzerland), and confirmed the US naval blockade on Iranian ports will be lifted.

Under the terms of the deal, the strategic waterway, through which a fifth of the world’s oil and liquid gas usually passes, would be gradually reopened as Iranian forces clear mines during the first month.

However, there remains uncertainty about the status of the strait going forward. In an interview with the NY Times on Sunday, Trump claimed the waterway will be “permanently toll free” . But on Iran’s Mehr state news, it was reported that a memorandum of understanding between the governments calls for the reopening of the strait within 30 days under “Iranian arrangements”.

How can the Iranians clear the mines when their navy is at the bottom of the sea?

It'll be a brave tanker captain who navigates the Strait of Hormuz any time soon.

Details are in short supply, and those that are available are opaque, but it seems the 'deal'
Donald has signed, is a blank sheet of paper !?

The Iranian's can and will put all their demands on it, and it's already signed.

Very bizarre.

Trump claims the US will control strait of Hormuz and get paid for it

The US president, Donald Trump, said on Monday that the United States would probably take over the strait of Hormuz and should be reimbursed for controlling ‌the vital ‌waterway.

“We’re going to ‌keep the strait, and we’ll probably run it. We’ll become the guardian ‌of the strait.
