Well if they tax his state pension or part of it
then his total tax may equate to the small annuity of 300 squids he has elsewhere. Therefore 100% tax on his annuity But complains about others misleading... |

You have to ask the Question is Reeves mentally unfit , in what world would she try to pull off such a stunt ? It would quite obviously come to Light
There has to be more to this than Blatant Lying ? What was going on with the OBR releasing the Budget early ? Why did they do that , It's no Error IMO If what is being said IS TRUE and nearly every paper is going with it , Surely the Budget is invalid ? If its True Starmer Must go as well .. Why not Just go ahead with what they Intended ,Saying they had the money to do it that things had taken a Turn , Limited taxes in Budget , everyone Would have to say well done , A big Plus for all concerned , Summat is not adding up with this whole business ,Why not disclose the Truth ? |

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer will give his backing to the chancellor's Budget in a speech on Monday, and commit the government to going "further and faster" on pro-growth measures.
He will say Chancellor Rachel Reeves's statement will help to alleviate cost of living pressures, lower inflation and ensure economic stability. It comes as the Treasury faces questions over whether it was transparent about the state of the public finances in the run-up to the Budget. The Conservatives claimed Reeves misled the public by being too pessimistic about the economic outlook when official forecasts painted a more upbeat picture. No 10 has denied that Reeves misled voters and defended her statement. Despite the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) downgrading growth from next year, the prime minister will argue that "economic growth is beating forecasts", but the government must do more to encourage it. |
|
By:
It would sit much better with most of us if Starmer and Reeves made these speeches in the House of Commons where they belong. There is a budget debate due shortly which is the proper place to defend their crazy plans but they prefer to make staged speeches elsewhere. The Tories were not much better at respecting Parliament and Trump tries to ignore the views of Congress but 3 wrongs do not make a right. The Speaker repeatedly castigates them for avoiding the floor of the house. Are they afraid that MPs might ask too many awkward questions?

Far safer to lie outside of parliament, simple as that.

The word Shameless Covers her , Financial Markets move on these Budgets she has given false information ,surely that is Illegal

By:
The Problem is ,if she goes surely Starmer has to go , he signed all this off knowing quite well it was all a Lie

The press were full of Shite about budget as were the forum idiots.
This put pound under pressure, so no wonder reeves had to talk about stuff and the downward pressure on UK finances from productivity and from brexit. Of course things are not as bad as gutter press and forum idiots thought, and tried to portray. Seems reeves isn't doing a bad job so they call her a liar Lol, gutter press and idiots, seething. |

3.kemi hacking, but more likely her bullying which she denied is brought to mind, going on like that. |

By:
Bullying
. If Reeves can't handle a justified critique of her hopelessness then she should resign. Good to see Kemi dishing out some home truths.I must admit i thought the Tories were dead, but there could still be some hope if she keeps this up. It doesn't matter what mud the Mirror or Guardian throws at Farage because it's not sticking, who cares what he said at school for instance ? They need to come up with something more than they have so far to have any effect on the electorate. |
|
By:
Once again you have zero grasp, idiot.
Badenoch faced bullying accusations when a cabinet minister. To carry on in that manner in parliament, in full view of the public makes the accusations so much more believable |

They didn't keep it quiet, it's been widely reported for years.

By:
I'm not sure which part of "he was at school and it was nearly 50 years ago" is hard to understand here. Unless he has been saying such comments in his adult life then it has no real relevance as far as the majority of voters are concerned. And if it has been "widely reported for years" then it shows you it is having zero effect.
The whiff of desperation from the hapless left is overpowering. |

The whiff of desperation defence, projection again, idiot.

One Cabinet minister told The Times: “Why did Keir and Rachel allow the country to believe for so long that we would break our manifesto by putting up income tax by 2p when they would have known that wasn’t true?
At no point were the Cabinet told about the reality of the OBR forecasts ,WTF ? This is now beyond silly |
|
By:
WTF do these Two think they are ? Its TAX PAYERS MONEY , NOT THEIR'S
|
|
By:
Why did the papers make up the story in first place?
|
|
By:
No it has been reported for years.
Someone put a single ALLEGATION in a Farage biography. The biographer has stated he could find any basis for the allegation. It hasn't stopped his political opponents from repeating the smears. Lamy tried it on the bbc around conference season, and shortly afterwards was forced to do an embarrassing climb down. |
|
By:
Speaking after the speech on the BBC's Politics Live, Lammy was asked whether he thought Farage was a racist.
He said the PM had been calling out policies "that would line people up who have a right to be in this country, who might be Indian, who might be Nigerian, and send them home". He added: "It's not British. It doesn't respect our values. "I'm not going to play the man. I'm playing the ball, as our leader did. "I will leave it for the public to come to their own judgements about someone who once flirted with Hitler Youth when he was younger." Shortly after making the comments, Lammy said he was "happy to clarify" them, in an interview with the BBC News Channel. "He [Farage] has denied it and so I accept that he has denied it and I would like to clarify that position because in the end the prime minister is keen for us to focus on the policies not the individuals." The deputy prime minister added: "I wasn't at school with Nigel Farage. I don't know what songs he sang at school. "I'm happy to clarify. I did say it's for the public to make up their mind and I did also emphasise that let us play the ball, not the man ." |
|
By:
That's not a climb down, and the book has been reported widely for years.
Farage was recently given a chance to deny it He didnt, but he waffled and dug himself into a deeper hole whilst saying it was 50 years ago. He could have sued for libel, he still can But having failed to deny the accusations he would lose, and it would cost him bigly. You can defend your racist hero as much as you want. Hmmmmm |
