You should also ask how many people he provided a job for while the businesses were running and how much tax was paid. It's still a net contribution to the economy. It's mostly people who know nothing about business LH who think it's a problem for 6 businesses out of thousands he ran to fail. It's a much better rate of winning than the average. Henry Ford went bust or failed in business five times before he finally succeeded with the Ford Motor Company. If it wasn't possible to start again after a failure we wouldn't have all these tinny fords all over the shop today.
Do you think every business stays profitable forever? 20% of businesses fail in the first year and most businesses fail eventually. Bankruptcies are a routine part of the business world, as are people not being paid when businesses fail. It's all part of the business risk. As a punter I would recommend you don't put any more bets on until you fully understand risk. |
