No,it started from civil rights,Catholics followed the American Black rights marches lead in the 60's by protesting what they were dealt with.
By:
They told them all to go south and completely destroyed the area,as seen on sky mudering thousands
By:
Well I'd say this, a good few protestants will have supported the Green but probably Zero Catholics supported the Orange
By:
Their bombing Syria daily as well and the media are saying feck all
Iran attacking US bases and the media are saying feck all Utter scum that are going to get people killed over here as well |

Blowing up all comms, filthy swine.

Egypt warns Israel

Thousands of people have broken into aid warehouses to grab basic survival items such as flour and hygiene kits, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNWRA) says
Yesterday they were saying no Aid had got through |
By:
60 odd trucks won't maintain 2+ million
would you say the troubles were mostly a religious or nationalistic cause? Neither next |
By:
They're eyeing up another hospital,14,000 people there warned the hospital to evacuate, this would be 4x bigger than 9/11 in one hit there must be 1000s extra dead now the numbers will be crazy...and still the US and UK no food,no water,electric,fuel..
https://twitter.com/robinet_ii/status/1718644899807961307 This is a difficult watch from the last hour on @AJEnglish (only trustworthy news channel right now) This is terror and trauma. @RishiSunak @POTUS I pray that you never know peace of heart and mind for what you've done. |
By:
Judging by the soundbites now with letting some aid through realise they have gone way too far.
A warcrime in itself to deprive people of food and water. |
By:
Hamas have food, water, fuel and weapons currently for balance.
By:
No balance, the estimate is somewhere between 25-40k hamas fighters in a 2.3 million population.
By:
If Hamas surrender weapons an engage in a serious peace process...(they are able to send ambassadors still all around the world it seems) we can start discussing aid and peaceful two state peace initiatives but their handlers will be very disappointed I assure you..
By:
The alternative and likely path is the Israeli's are going to do what they want, the humanitarian aspect deteriorating rapidly and still allowed??
It is simply murder. |
By:
The Palestinians on the West Bank are engaged in what they thought would be a process towards a two-state solution and they have been unvaryingly treated like s**t by the Israelis.
By:
I've seen nothing officially or otherwise from Hamas to suggest they have any serious intent to reduce this situation...
they have the ability to...and if they did so (somewhat weirdly) the world would side with them.. simply saying - world - stop the bombing when you hate the whole world beyond extreme elements of your world view (and even then it must be the right version) ...not so good.. Hospitals and civilians run out of stuff...check the tunnels before you claim the aid.. |
By:
Balance?
The Israelis murdered 1900 Palestinians in 2014 in retaliation for the kidnapping and execution of 3 settlers. By that ratio, Netenyahu needs to kill some 800,000 Palestinians to satisfy Israeli bloodlust. |

Fifty-four Thai nationals are among the 220 hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, according to new figures released by the Israeli government. Almost all are believed to have been farm workers employed on the agricultural communities that bore the brunt of the terrorist attacks launched on southern Israel by the extremist organisation on 7 October.
Thais also made up the largest single group of foreign dead and missing, with 24 confirmed killed and 21 unaccounted for, the updated statistics revealed. In all, 1,400 people were killed in the attacks, mostly civilians. Authorities in Bangkok have said that at least 33 of its nationals were killed and 18 wounded but that only 18 were among those taken hostage. collateral damage ? |
By:
why would you not arrange deportation to Thailand (via Egypt) as a minimum,
why would you decapitate a Thai farm worker with a garden hoe - requiring multiple ingressions at the neck.... |
By:
A divergence from the Palestinian civilians,ie women and children being denied food, water, medicine etc, it is a warcrime.
By:
Hamas could end this right now. Release the hostages, guarantee Israels right to exist and forego any further acts of violence. This would stop. No more bombing. No more killing. But they won't do that. Ask yourselves why? When you're satisfied with the why... stop whining... You'll know exactly why people are dying and it's got nothing to do with Israeli intransigence. This is a fight which Hamas engineered and they've now got it. This is a fight which Hamas can stop.
By:
I very much doubt there are more than 20k Hamas fighters,it wouldn't surprise me if it were even 10k Israel are just flattening every building
that way no where to go back to and with no food, water etc kills at least another 10,000 civilians by that alone they're going to kill 50,000 people leave a place totally decimated and 2.3 million as refugees...This was always the plan anyway, racist fanatics.. |
By:
I wasn't being flippant or unsympathetic towards the Thai's Brentford, a small window to stop a total catastrophe now.
By:
"End this"? Where does that leave the Palestinians in Gaza? Man have had a relative or neighbour murdered by the Israelis. Most of their homes have been bombed.
By:
murder not ''kill'' civillians that's the words BBC would use for Palestinians and their propaganda..
By:
Hamas have plenty of water, food and anything else..
have blown hundreds of millions on their 'freedom fighting' games...these are not freedom fighters...there are no parallels much as some like to find them between Hamas and the IRA.. the only similarity is that the only end game is moderates on both sides.... (and we are so far from that currently and Iran and now Russia in alliance with such freedom types as North Korea will make sure we don't get there) |
By:
"End this"? Where does that leave the Palestinians in Gaza?
Exactly where it leaves the 1.7 million Palestinians currently living and working in Israel. Free to live their lives in peace. |
By:
Thanks for the comedy.
By:
Brent what if they haven't or very limited,ie enough for 25k?
The pictures are showing people at breaking poing, weeks of non stop bombing, tents, no washing or cleaning facilities,it is hell. |
By:
That's not much of a rebuttal. Perhaps you've run out of lies and fantasies.
By:
UN and Egypt should be able to arrange something...Saudis can fund it...
no one interested ...proper leverage from certain Arab nations would quickly resolve safe passage... Egypt don't want them...Saudi, Qatar etc won't leverage currently (they might in due course)... Iran wants the conflict to escalate in a controlled fashion (be careful what you wish for)... |

Just for you, TheGoldenVision
https://www.theguardian.com/books/2023/oct/26/a-day-in-the-life-of-abed-salama-by-nathan-thrall-review-a-collision-in-closeup The book examines a road accident on a West Bank highway between a truck and a bus full of excited Palestinian five-year-olds on a school outing. Seven people were killed: one teacher and six children The narrative drive leads to only one place. He shows that the fatal accident was not merely the product of terrible weather and an act of gross negligence by the truck driver. He points instead to “the true origins of the calamity”. He names among other elements: “the separation wall and the permit system that forced a kindergarten class to take a long, dangerous detour to the edge of Ramallah”; the checkpoints “used to stem Palestinian movement and ease settler traffic at rush hour”; and “the absence of emergency services on one side of the separation wall”. All this was “bound to lead to tragedy”. The culprit, in other words, is the occupation, a 56-year political project that is exacting a terrible human cost. Yeah, free to live their lives in peace. |
By:
bit contrived tbh UB...
hoes on the neck are more effective ways of murdering people... |
By:
It's not "contrived", it happened.
By:
UB... If a tragic road accident is the best example of Israeli mastery and over-bearing dominance that you can come up with... in the light of Hamas butchering 1500 women and children... I think you've either lost the plot or the argument.

without going full Partridge - he might as well blame the M25 on a Friday...

1695 people die on UK roads on average. If we weren't oppressively occupied, the number may be less.

Their daily lives do not square with being free to live their lives in peace. But you don't care. You didn't believe what you posted anyway. Noone does.
