dam - put yourself in the position of the CPS.
They'll know a lot more about this case than you or WD. They're on the same side as the plod so will naturally give them the benefit of the doubt. And they'll have much more evidence than is in the public realm. Maybe camera footage, maybe colleague's warnings about this officer. Maybe lots of things. And they've decided that they have a decent chance of a successful murder charge. Still so confident the copper's one of the good guys? |

Fundamentally if you are an armed police officer
you have to have the strength of character and bravery to put your own life in danger by not acting rashly That’s the choice you make if you take on that job , and it might get you killed Because we don’t want police carrying a gun making bad decisions If don’t have the capacity to do that don’t take the job |

the officer should be backed to the hilt.if not we are at the mercy of the thugs and terrorists.

Rubbish 19
Nobody should be above the law! What next Death Squad’s? |

By:
the death squads are the lawless ones with knives and guns who have nothing but contempt for our culture and ways of life.

some strange views you see on here.all entitled to them mind and i respect each and every one.however some of these fellows wanted us to wear masks to stop them getting a bad cold but are quite willing to let machete wielding, gun tooting criminals roam around us without any fear of being brought to justice because its their right not to be challenged! how strange.

we're now at the completely making things up rather than accept we've been a bit daft end of the argument I see

How many gun toting, knife wielding criminals have attacked you? purely as a matter of interest as now I am very scared! |

please explain

The average salary for Authorised Firearms Officer is £38,056 per year in the United Kingdom. The average additional cash compensation for a Authorised Firearms Officer in the United Kingdom is £3,232, with a range from £1,278 - £8,175
I see the highly principled gun toter's went back to work within a day or to to be able to claim their extra dosh! How many acts of terrorism occurred while they threw their dummies out of the pram and realised they would not be missed? |
|
By:
please explain
The question is How many gun toting, knife wielding criminals have attacked you? What do you need explaining? |
|
By:
lets hope you and your family never need these brave officers when being robbed or mugged.i am sure you would be disgusted
|
|
By:
It was a simple question!
Lets hope none of us need these brave officers because they are never there to help US! I seem to remember when Oleg Deripaska's house was entered by people protesting against the Russian invasion of Ukraine about 50 BRAVE Police Officers or mo0re turned up to turf them out including 3 BRAVE ARMED POLICE UNTIT'S....WHY? and a fecking bulldozer! |
|
By:
Do you really believe a BRAVE ARMED POLICE OFFICER will turn up if YOUR FAMILY need them?

What an utter clown you are WD
A subversive clown at that. Over 20% of all firearms operations happen in London and the armed response unit there is 5 times larger than anywhere else. Do you think they have it that substantial just for 5hits and giggles or do you think it’s that active based on requirements? As for the nonsense that the armed police achieved nothing by refusing to go to work, you couldn’t be more wrong. In that short period the Home Office got sufficiently worried that they instantly ordered a review on the guidelines that is to be fast tracked to be completed within the next couple of months. What a stupid comment from you to ask how many times a person has been affected by knife or gun crime, as though only those who have been are allowed to comment. So blasé has it become in the capital due to ethnic diversity that the only defence made is to try and ignore the danger. |

In that short period the Home Office got sufficiently worried that they instantly ordered a review on the guidelines that is to be fast tracked to be completed within the next couple of months. They GOT nothing! A dog whistle from an incompetent Home Secretary! Their beef is with their own people! You know nothing as usual. You just want to get your rocks off spreading your ignorance and hate. How is Presi Rubiales doing btw? Another issue where your blind prejudice and bigotry obfuscated the facts and the truth and the bleedin' obvious outcome. He is gawn! No recourse to a Court of Law because he has no case but but wot about the video on the bus and her lifting him in the air? You are not very bright dusty! I really wish Chump would take you on to defend him in the Courts! |
|
By:
All you are doing is showing what a pathetic specimen you are.
If it’s white, male or established you will waffle on about how your useless minority supporting progressive claptrap virtue signalling has to be heard. You were banging on about rubiales’ actions as though they had any bearing on the kiss action, because you got no fkn clue about how courts work. The ‘charge’ was about the kiss, yet you were banging on about how he grabbed his own crotch as though that is sexual offence itself What a laughable prick you are. As for the bigger issue that I said from the start it was all about, it turned out true. The rest of the players were ordered back to work and threatened with legal action if they refused. All the while they could have cut ties and built their own association that had nothing to do with the badges of the brands men’s teams had built, knowing their economics didn’t add up, so all they continued to do was whinge, just as you are like a lacky cnt. Even the progressive ECB have rejected the economics of the claims in from the independent ‘equity’ (not equality) in cricket….and they were the ones who encouraged rafiq while ignoring testimony from his Asian chum that undermined it, and it fell apart when challenged. But then you lapped all that up like a complete nipple too. If they are not white and have allegations against white ppl then they must be telling the truth and whitey not require to defend themselves do they? W4nkor |

As for ‘got nothing’
How long the public services been on strike idiot? The armed response sat it out 1 day and the Home Office and PM intervened to make sure a report is created on their concerns, such is the importance for an armed response in the capital. |

Clueless and not very bright. Well done for proving my point!

A Metropolitan Police firearms officer who shot dead a gangster eight years ago faces being sacked despite being cleared of any criminal wrongdoing, The Telegraph can reveal.
The marksman, known as W80, shot dead 28-year-old Jermaine Baker in a police operation in December 2015 as Baker was preparing to spring two prisoners from Wood Green Crown Court, in north London. He was not charged in connection with the death, but now the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is set to announce that W80 will face a gross misconduct hearing that could result in him being sacked. Another one |

Some more good, honest police work by good, honest police officers. |

Looks like the some more corrupt Metropolitan Police Officers are going lose their jobs and pensions. Telling highly drug tested athletes they can smell cannabis was a little stupid!

Given the victimhood of people getting arrested the police going to start getting handcuffs from Anne Summers that pinch a bit less.

By:
Whinger?
You ain’t got a clue. Over 20 years ago I mixed in the circles that meant police took an interest, and where I got clattered and I deserved it I didn’t moan Even when I was twice clattered and completely innocent (once on a shopping precinct some shop keeper called the plod over kids moving seating around and a riot van turned up and leathered everyone….the other walking to work near a football ground and emerged from an underpass at the wrong time and got clattered….didn’t moan) You just a stooge ffs. |
|
By:
Yoh must be very tough dusty
|
|
By:
Nowt to do with it
Even when I was twice stopped within 3-4 days in the exact same place on the way to uni and had all my things inspected pockets emptied and searched head to toe I put everything out on the same wall on both occasions I didn’t make a complaint even though I went that route every day and all those houses saw it. If I was black how much money you think I’d get from that? |
|
By:
Probably a fat lip and cuts on your wrist but you are tough and can take it. Tbh I am a little surprised they did not roll you in a mattress and kick the sheite out of you. Where did yoI grow up to be so well treated by your local Plod?

Simply part of the constitution
One side of the family were steel workers. You work it out. Everyone working hard to find somebody else to blame nowadays It’s pathetic. |
