Timber asked "Why not back 50 Dem senate seats at 17/17.5?"

Because the No Majority covers GOP 50 Dem 48 - GOP 49 Dem 49 and GOP 48 and Den 50 - the two independents not counted for the Dems in this market.

I'm now of the opinion that it is best for all concerned if the gop win big and more importantly the Trump endorsed pretty much all get in. Simply because what do they say about the '**** elections' then? This line of the elections we win are fair the ones we don't are **** is already running out of steam (had no steam with any reasonable person to start with!) and most of them can barely string a sentence together let alone do a job with responsibilities.
Look at what happened when the Tea Party got in in the teens - deadlock for 4 years or more - well the same people that voted for them have just done the same thing again and they expect a different result? Best of all will be watching Mc Carthy squirm and debase himself further in order to be a speaker with no authority whatever, Trump can then announce his run for president and we can all watch the GOP debase themselves and rip each other to shreds while showing they can't govern over the next 2 years.
If the dems win then it will just be a rinse and repeat of the last 2 years which is getting very very tedious.

Gop to take hor by 60 and senate by 5 would in normal circumstance be very realistic but the Trumpties means it could be anything!

the republicans will win the house and probably the senate but its a false dawn........if they cant win during one of the biggest economic crisis's in modern history whan an incoherent old democrat is president, when can they win?.......biden can still defeat trump in 2024. some of those who vote for the red team today will not vote for trump in 2024.
