Very little new quality on it for quite some time ......apart from awaiting the final series of my favourite programme Better Call Saul, all I watch are repeats of Star Trek , Top Gear and The It Crowd.

Totally agree sixtwosix

I'm only interested in documentaries and there seems a paucity of quality docs for a while now
This morning I watched a 6/10 doc called "Untold - Deal With The Devil" about the life of female boxer Christy Martin
If you've nowt else to do, might be worth a go.

Mike Tyson makes a showing in that doc ^^ and I swear every time I hear him now he proves he is a smart man.

Idiocracy..

This dystopian community is governed by a strict set of rules.
Arrested for not having a bar code tattoo to pay for his doctor's appointment
societal expectations lead the most intelligent humans to choose not to have children while the least intelligent reproduce indiscriminately, creating increasingly dumber generations.

I might give that a watch this evening cuckoo. As for Nilsen Giuseppe, worth a watch if you've not heard of him before, although I found the 45 minute documentary on YouTube more informative to be fair.

wot gets me is these D.A.s are meant to fight for justice but the system is so corrupt that even when they hav massive doubts about the case they strive on to put innocent people away cos they know it will improve their chances of being re elected when elections come around - in Trial 4 the D.A. in very 1st case proves this point - i wont elaborate s as not to spoil but feck me she tried him at least 3 times ShockedShockedShocked

Quality new content has been thin on the ground too put it mildly .....and I don't even pay for it.

Other than awaiting the final series of the best show possibly ever ....Better Call Saul .....I only watch reruns of The It Crowd these days.

^^^ agreed, if they kept the good shows on say like Madmen, which Ive havent seen yet. it would be worth the couple of quid a month... but half of it is full of hyped up woke cr@p starring a load of unknowns or the tired old same old has beens.

Just watched the Jean van de Velde story when he blew The Open... and instead of showing the actual footage they showed an animation 'storyboard' of the shots instead.  Utter dire

Watched 'Let Him Have It' on Prime last night. True story of Derek Bentley who was (wrongfully) hanged in the UK in the 50's. A fine performance by Christopher Eccleston, which I read helped kick-start his career.

Poor Derek hanged and the guy who pulled the trigger (Christopher Craig) is walking the streets today... being 16 he was below the minimum age of 18 for execution.

I watched Vice the other day too Emitdeb. Interesting and makes you wonder who was president at the time.

I also rented 'The Father' on Amazon a few days back (Hopkins/Coleman) and what a great movie that is. It's not often you watch a movie where you (the viewer) are playing the part. Brilliant stuff that won Hopkins his second Oscar.
