only in sense its italian, more to do with  government corruption/gangs/church. Basically a slice of land comes up for grabs near Rome that would allow easy import of drugs. all the faces are interested. Grin

Never be another gomorrah 19. Blimey, how good was that. Sky tried it recently with zerozerozero. Only 2 episodes in but this suburra looks a little more diverse with politics and the church already also involved.

Not Netflix but Braquo and Engrenages are as good as Gomorrah in terms of foreign series

I still think Lilyhammer was amazing, unique and hilarious at times

I do love a good crime documentary. I followed the Chris Watts case and have probably watched/listened to everything regarding it; how on earth did he do that? (Netflix - American Murder - The Family Next Door. I will add that this documentary is extremely condensed so you'll need YT for the deeper account)

Another interesting one is the Golden State Killer (YT) and if you haven't watched it then I won't spoil it for you on how they eventually caught him. Suicide is fast becoming the only option left for these sickos.

My ability to retain the facts after watching a documentary is poor but It's impossible to forget the impression and fascination they left.

Clarkson's farm on Amazon.

Gerald Cooper takes some believing.
He's like a rural Stanley Unwin.

He's been on loads of times and I've never understood a word he's said.
Clarkson stands there looking baffled as the sounds come out of Cooper's mouth.

Chris Watts, That was an incredible story. The lie detector lady really ripped him to shreds.. So much on youtube re watts. Lots of people saying his wife basically drove him to it.. Crazy  There really are some Mad things happening out there.

Just finished watching Sophie. Pretty good to be fair and it keeps you watching, which is the hardest part of a three-hour documentary. Now to finish watching the final series of 'Lie To Me'

The Serpent is pretty excellent. Great acting and story telling. Pretty close to the truth too, not too many liberties taken.

BBC radio had the real life Dutchie telling things from his side. Worth a listen if you can find it on BBC Sounds.

I've been watching Lockdown with the old Top Gear team.
Same old.
And old is the right word, the three of them have really aged.

Hammond's only 51.
May is 58.
And Clarkson is 61.

How does it go - ''They spend their health to get their wealth.''

Finished 'The Serpent' a few days ago. A heavy watch, but engrossing. Started Clarkson's Farm late last night (1 episode) and it was a good start and a good insight into the workings of a real farm, which has never drawn my interest before.

Finished Clarkson's Farm last night and definitely worth a watch, especially if you're from the City with little or no clue about farming; it is quite an education. Funny at times and occasionally a little sad and the rules make you wonder why farmers even bother. Apparently a second series is in the making.

make you wonder why farmers even bother.

Don't fall for it Aspro, farmers have been singing the same song since time began.

The first thing you learn in business is ''it's a poor businessman who can't plead poverty.''
And farmers have perfected the art, because they've got most people believing them.

This song (Never seen a farmer on a bike) sums them up:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNQ3itmFug8

Best line:

''And though he's got a private yacht, a race horse and three cars,
He always say the farm don't pay. That's how them farmers are.''

Lol.
