Happy to accept that Tim. Good luck with your bets.

These lying lefties assume everyone else is the same, that we`re all liars so, if they ask enough questions, they`ll somehow catch us out in the same way that we can so easily expose their evil twaddle. That`s the beauty of truth, lefties, it`s unchanging, immutable. And it`s on our side.
|
|
By:
Hadn`t seen your acceptance; fair enough, let`s move on
|
|
By:
Ok, But don't be abusive to me by constantly referring to me as a "leftie". I won't ask you again.
|
|
By:
Yeah have to add that this 'leftie' stuff is pathetic.
|
|
By:
Truth is truth, facts are facts; you`re a leftie, so I`ll accurately describe you as such whenever I please. Feel free to continue with the abuses I outlined earlier, I`m an adult, not an under-educated and over-socialised snowflake. OK, leftie?
If you are so offended by being a leftie, maybe you should take the red pill, join us good and right thinkers? |

By:
Tim, you are now blocked.

LOVE IT!!! Truth conquers evil, yet again, always will!

typical slippery leftist politics punter put in his corner |

trump is certainly a liar, that doesn't stop timmeh and insider trader lionising him.
Insider Trader accidentally posted a link showing that trump was lying at the press conference yesterday, |
|

Politics Punter claims to cancel everyone from the forum.
Makes you think what is doing here if he does not want to debate the issues. |

Tim, you are now blocked. politicspunter 09 Aug 20 18:16 `... Insider Trader is blocked by me and has been for a long time. dave1357 09 Aug 20 18:23 "cancel culture" - are people like timmeh capable of doing anything but spout right wing cliches? I rest my case! |
|
By:
Trump tells only good lies , compared to the evil lies of those who vote democrat
|
|
By:
insider trader loves to post links theorising about how many lives have been lost by this or that lockdown decision. I wonder how many lives will be lost by scientists and doctors wasting time over proving that hydrochloroquine was ineffective rater than trialing other therapies. All to appease the idiot.
|
|
By:
An apology from politics punter is in order never mind anything else
That won’t happen , leftists are like that , No ones fooled |
|
By:
dave; I heard a little phrase which I thought was fairly apt, it might help you understand?
`lefties take him literally, but not seriously; we take him seriously, but not literally`. |

what does "replace veterans choice" mean? |

A trial investigating the drug hydroxychloroquine as a preventative treatment against Covid-19 may never find out if it's effective, say scientists involved.
Controversy around the drug - touted by President Trump and the subject of online misinformation - is stopping completion of the trial, they say. It is ineffective in hospitalised patients, but investigators hope it might work if given earlier on. Hospitals have pulled out of the trial. 'Intense politicisation and negative publicity' The Oxford University-led trial is aiming to enrol 40,000 frontline workers around the world. Investigators hope the large-scale, double-blind randomised study will show if early use of the treatment prevents the virus from getting worse. "We know now that it doesn't work in treatment of hospitalised patients," says Prof Nick White, one of the study's investigators. "But it's still is a medicine that may prove beneficial in preventing Covid-19." The UK medicines regulatory body MHRA halted hydroxychloroquine trials, following a now-discredited paper in The Lancet claiming it caused harms. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-53679498 2 days ago |

In terms of lockdown and Neil Ferguson many many people have questioned his methodology and his code. Just to blindly agree that Boris and Trump were right to recommend/do lockdowns is not right in my opinion.

Are you seriously telling me that you can't interpret those three words?
|

I am not falling for the leftist's 3 word tricks. Many regular people do not know what 'Black Lives Matter' stands for. Nothing is ever quite what it seems.

He stood up and said that "veterans choice" didn't exist until he brought it in. It was brought it by Obama. When he was fact checked he walked out.
|
|
By:
Did or didn't Obama bring in veterans choice?
It's a simple question. |
|
By:
He signed MISSION Act in 2018.
You know that. Any comments or other points. e.g. hydroxychloroquine? |
|
By:
Obama wasn't president in 2018

Did or didn't Obama bring in veterans choice?

No double blind trial has shown any efficacy of hydrochloroquine
|

By:
Dave I am not getting into a Twitter style yes or no shouting match with you.
I know the radical left do not understand any kind of nuanced debate. I guess that is why Trump annoys them so much. We refuse to play by your simplistic rules. |
|
By:
So I'll take that as an admission that you know trump is a liar and dangerous ignoramus but refuse to publicly accept it.
|
|
By:
I am not willing to debate with a leftist screaming for just yes/no answers and is not willing to actually debate the subject in hand.
Trump has raised awareness of what he had done for veterans. The press has helped get the message out for him. |

Re covid - He stood in front of a presentation detailing how cleaning products could eradicate the virus. And actually thought he had found the solution to curing it. If you seriously think that a man who thinks like that is anything other than a huge liability, you must be a lot thicker than you pretend.

and more than 2k veterans have died of covid btw

dave; I`ve looked at numerous studies with an open mind, and I haven`t seen one yet that had used hydroxy in combination with a couple of other drugs that wasn`t extremely positive about it, while every trial that was negative had flaws of one sort or another, mostly for administering it too late, or not in the necessary combinations. Forgive the re-posting of my most recent evidence, (can`t be bothered writing it again), what, in the few minutes worth of links, do you disagree with? I understand the lack of desire to see The Don as being behind the cure to the biggest problem in our lifetimes but, in the interests of saving lives and re-opening, shouldn`t science overcome that?
timbuctooth 07 Aug 20 22:55 Another aspect of the globalists strategy is to mock anything positive about Hydroxychloroquine; they can`t be having this plannedemic finishing anytime soon, their big-pharma comrades really don`t want us paying a fiver for it, as opposed to the £3,000-odd for Remdesivir , which is needed if they`ve managed to avoid giving you the hydroxy, and it most certainly can`t have been something promoted by The Don! http://fcassets.curry.com.s3.wasabisys.com/enc/1596743372.105_drursooffrontlinedoctors-hcqissupersafeandhaspreventativeeffects.heresthedata.mp3 http://fcassets.curry.com.s3.wasabisys.com/enc/1596743372.105_drsimonegoldoffrontlinedoctorsonfinancialincentivesagainsthydroy.mp3 |

A White House official made discreet inquiries over the possibility of Donald Trump’s image being carved into Mount Rushmore, it has been reported.
According to the New York Times the official, who was not named, last year approached the office of South Dakota governor, Kristi Noem to ask how an additional president could be added to the monument. Details of the approach emerged over the weekend. Likenesses of four presidents - George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt - were immortalised in the massive 1941 sculpture which took 14 years to create. The attraction in the Black Hills attracts more than two million visitors a year. Mr Trump first raised the possibility of his being added to the pantheon of iconic US presidents when he met Mrs Noem at the Oval Office as far back as 2017. The South Dakota governor assumed the president was joking, she recalled a year later. “He said, ‘Kristi, come on over here. Shake my hand’ “I shook his hand, and I said, ‘Mr. President, you should come to South Dakota sometime. We have Mount Rushmore.’ “And he goes, ‘Do you know it’s my dream to have my face on Mount Rushmore?’ I started laughing. He wasn’t laughing, so he was totally serious.” |
