In a mind-bending tweet Saturday President Donald Trump warned Americans that “jobs will disappear!” if Joe Biden is elected.
Millions of jobs have already disappeared — and the U.S. GDP just took the biggest dive in American history, plummeting 33%. And Biden isn’t in the White House. When he was there, the Obama administration created more jobs in each of its final three years than Trump did in his best year. Critics on Twitter couldn’t quite believe what they read. ![]() |

The spat between Trump and his own health official sparked some withering condemnation on Twitter.
“Let’s be very clear: this is not normal & we should not treat it as normal for a president to be publicly attacking his own top government adviser on infectious diseases,”. As numbers have surged again in the US in recent weeks, the crisis seems to be getting worse and the Trump administration still appears to be struggling to come up with a coherent response. Trump’s latest criticism of Fauci comes as plans to reopen schools and universities are being thrown into disarray by the virtually unchecked spread of Covid-19 across parts of the US before the academic year. Doubts about the US school system’s ability to cope with the pandemic grew last week after a high school student at Greenfield Central in Indiana – one of the first states to reopen – tested positive on the first day of class. Anyone who came within 6ft of the student for more than 15 minutes was told to isolate for two weeks. “We knew it was a when, not if,” the superintendent, Harold Olin, told the New York Times, but they were “very shocked it was on day one”. Of the 25 largest school districts in the US, all but six have announced they will start remotely. Some states, including the coronavirus hotspots Florida and Texas, anticipate in-person classes despite strong misgivings or objections from teachers’ unions, who have threatened to support strikes if their members feel their health is being put at risk.Against the backdrop of chaos and widely differing responses, Trump has continued to promote a return to in-person tuition despite the school attended by his youngest son, Barron, receiving a prohibition order until at least 1 October. Barron Trump attends St Andrew’s Episcopal, a private school in Potomac, Maryland, that falls under the jurisdiction of Montgomery county. “At this point the data does not suggest that in-person instruction is safe for students or teachers,” the region’s health officer, Travis Gayles, said in a statement last week. |

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump · 23h Was in the Great State of Texas this week and explained that the Radical Left Do Nothing Democrats, headed up by their great leader, Sleepy Joe Biden (who never leaves his basement), are strongly against “Oil, Gas, Guns, & God”. Must be tough to win Texas on that platform! Donald sounds a bit worried about the upcoming election. |

Texas has voted Republican for 40 years. If they vote Democrat this time Chump will be know as the useless President who lost Texas
|
|
By:
The Democrats have gradually been making progress in Texas. Trump won 52-43 in 2016 so it's probably still beyond the democrats to turn him over but they did have some very good results in the 2018 midterm elections.

Polls Schmoles??
Although Trump was leading Clinton in 2016 all through the Autumn and the final RCP average was +12 for Trump. He won it by +9. Very different polling story this time around, wonder if these polls also favour the GOP like in 2016. |
|
By:
If Trump loses Texas, he is definitely busted, no question about it. The thing is, it's not even a target as such for Biden as there are much more promising winnable states.

There were good parts and bad parts.
Honestly there were “good” parts ? I suppose the bit at the start before Trump said anything was not too bad. After that it was surreal. I actually felt sorry for Trump. His gaff about the USA doing “better than the world” was excruciatingly embarrassing. He is even more stupid than anyone realised. But I should not feel sorry for long. He is a truly odious bigot after all. He lies just all the time and has the moral integrity of a tom cat. He surely can’t get in again. The Americans must have surel seen enough now to realise he is totally unsuited to being allowed out on his own, let alone be president of the United States. |

He got the point across that the Federal government has given the governors everything they needed for Covid.
He got his point across about mail in voting being a failure when rushed through even on a small scale. When Trump said it could take 'weeks to get the result' the moron interviewer made out that was not a problem. He also got the point across about Epstein very well and put a warning out to anyone trying to take out Maxwell. He also set the record straight on the democrats/antifa chaos in Portland etc. |
