There's been some incredible high-volume trading on this market. Over 17 millions matched. The vast majority of it complete guesswork.

Do you know I suspect he doesn't realise that.

I remember a great 24 hours betting on who the next pope was going to be, despite the voting and discussions being behind closed doors. We had about four steamers, and multiple claims of insider sources :D

That's right. Even Raymond Van Barneveld touched 1.67 as I recall.

“Look out of the window and tell me what you see.” “Um…a small, scruffy dog watching a man taking a piss in an alley,” said Moist. “Sorry, but you chose the wrong time.” “Had I been taken less literally,” said Lord Vetinari, giving him a Look, “you would have seen a large, bustling city, full of ingenious people spinning wealth out of the common clay of the world.”

As I recall "The Plague From The Hague" changed his religion TWICE to put people off the scent,  then the insiders got all the 1000 before he changed to Catholicism and got the markets in a right panic.

What we really need is someone with a cardboard sign declaring that Redknapp is pulling out of the race in Portsmouth. That'll shake the market.

That infamous 'Cardboard Ramp' was UNQUESTIONABLY the APEX moment of betting ANYWHERE in history.  A carefully-contrived (and about as subtle as a sledgehammer) 'protestor' from Central Casting saw Dedkrapp's price go from around 1.03 to 1.9 in roughly 3 seconds (where further big money bets were waiting) and back to 1.03 in roughly the same time.

Grown men wept in awe at the scenes on 'Sky Sports 24/7/365 PR Masquerading as Pretendy News channel'.  It made the JFK shenanigans pale into insignificance.

If bobo gets the majority we can kiss this once great nation goodbye, it'll be full to the rafters with Farage types in their flat hats whilst smoking a cigar

Horrible thought
