No, I have always supported a referendum on the concrete terms before us. It is the only way to settle this. And, anticipating the inevitable next question, No, it would not be best of three, it would be binding. Almost everybody of note on the side of Remain would fully accept the UK Leaving on a mandate legitimised by an informed vote on the slightest margin.

The concrete terms are:
1. Mrs May's Deal
2. Managed No Deal

Unless May's deal passes we leave next week so no time for a referendum on this.

It is a complete waste of time trying to get a remainer parliament to implement the peoples' verdict to leave.

406 Mps represent leave consistencies whilst 242 represent remainers.
160 Mps are leavers and 486 are remainers.

The MPs are simply to far removed from reality to vote properly on the issue.

Soon over 1 million patriots will have signed the revoke article 50 petition. Revocation is only way to stop the 5th columnist wreckers.

On online petition has been filled in a certain number of email addresses. Not the same as individual people.

unlike all the malpractice during the referendum, i doubt there
will be criminal prosecutions for this petition

great work, should be at a million by about 3 pm, maybe people can sign it with home
email when they get home too.

Leave/Remain is the only meaningful question, and far more sensible to decide in light of the actual choices. That Leavers have been unable to articulate, let alone execute Brexit, is not my side's problem. Choose whichever form you think will give you the best chance but Leave can't promise everything to everyone, that's what led us to this state.

What would you prefer, nellie?

I just checked a bet I had. £20 leaving on 29th March etc no deal at 8.0. They have offered me £26 to cash out. Think I will let it run...

It's hovering around the 4.5 mark on the exchanges at the moment. I can't see any possibility of MV3 passing so it's definitely a runner for now.
By:
politicspunter
When: 21 Mar 19 15:14
For my bet above, I could just lay at that 4.5 price to ensure a no loss but I will just keep an eye on it for now.

If it gets to point won't the anti-'no deal' Tories bring down the government to force an election and get an long term extension that way?
By:

When: 21 Mar 19 15:17
I wouldn't be confident of anything with the way things are right now other than the MV3 vote failing.

Will be worth 4 figures but can't be arsed laying off i wanted 4x as much on someone offered me 20 at 7/1 on another forum last week, could well go a lot shorter yet as well..

will she last as long as an mv3

or is that necessary to force a vote of confidence?

anyone remember this in 2016 "The Article 50 petition is not the most popular ever on the Parliament website. A petition for a second EU referendum in June 2016 attracted more than four million signatures and was debated in the Commons - but thousands of signatures were removed after it was discovered to have been hijacked by automated bots.

ring any bells, same person doing this one  maybe, remainers are really despreate now, anyway you lose a few calories by marching on saturday, hahaha

nellie70 you are likely to be granted your wish - PM has finally chosen "Brexit at any cost" is the hill she is going to die on.

Mkts say 4.5 we leave next Fri., I think the probability much higher. Be smart, be liquid and park your money outside £ as much as you can. Good luck!

May is shot to bits and there is not enough resolve to stop will of the disaster-capitalists. My family is well protected but I feel sorry for ordinary Brits about to be fleeced a second time.
